Has there been a time in your life that you have feared carbs? Gone low-carb, keto, paleo? Carbs are NOT bad for you, sometimes it's just the type we choose that our bodies don't respond well to. Read the graphic attached and let me know your thoughts-can't wait to hear from you!

I'd love to hear from our founding members! 😊 @Gerri VanDyke @Dahling Nola @Naomi Arthurs @Jamie Bahr Thank you for helping build ASA from the beginning. Today's lesson is a simple reminder that protein isn't just about building muscle. After 40, protein plays an important role in maintaining strength, supporting recovery, promoting bone health, increasing satiety, and helping us age well. Small, consistent habits add up over time. Take a look at today's lesson below, and then I'd love to hear from you... Campus Question: What's your favorite healthy source of protein? Or... What's one way you try to include more protein in your day? I can't wait to read your responses! — Holly

@Carrie Craft I need to get back to some more chicken! Sometimes I just really don’t like it 🤣 but if Luke cooks it then I don’t mind as much!

One of the biggest reasons I created ASA is because I believe women over 40 can continue getting stronger, healthier, and more confident at any age. I’d love to know: What is one strength or health goal you are currently working toward? Maybe it’s: - Getting stronger in the gym - Building muscle - Improving consistency - Feeling better in your clothes - Having more energy Share below—I want to get to know everyone in this community!

My goal (as always) is to build more muscle, but my reasons have changed-it used to just be about competing (that may or may not happen again), but now it is about healthy aging and longevity! I want to be strong and self-sufficient hopefully into my 80s and beyond!

My goal has always been to make it to 103 and be strong and independent and still have a clear mind! Happy you are here, Carrie!
