My test is Friday and I am feeling the pressure. I need help calming down and passing the test. Staying grounded and focused on the day and during the test. I need all the help I can get. Been prepping for over a year. Only 40% pass the first time and it’s hard.

@Michele Amburgey We are our own worst critics and not knowing what they are looking for and grading it’s difficult for us to know how we did. But it wasn’t as bad as I was afraid of. My first time in a sound booth so that was cool. Confused on sight translation and therefore lost a min and a half but still had plenty of time to finish before time ran out. I left thinking I was adequate enough to pass but the more time separate from it the more destructive and negative my mindset has become. Just because I feel like I passed doesn’t mean I did or will :( some people think they passed and they didn’t so you never really know. There is no way of knowing until you get the results in 90 days so probably around October

I just submitted my pilot into a film festival in my area! Preparing for my test to become a certified interpreter I take in the first week of July. Been prepping for a year. You can prep forever and never run out of materials 😬

I could really use prayer right now. I’m very close to the finish line on a project that’s deeply important to me, but it feels like every time I get close, another barrier shows up. The emotional weight of it all is starting to wear me down, and lately I’ve been struggling with discouragement, exhaustion, and feeling like I’m losing hope. I’m asking for prayers for strength, clarity, endurance, open doors where they’re meant to be, and peace through the emotional toll this process has been taking on me. I’m trying not to give up, even when most of me wants to. Thank you for keeping me in your prayers. 💜
