We have more time than we think
I was working out yesterday and started replying to posts in the various Skool communities I'm in while I was resting between sets. I had a mini epiphany because I used to tell myself the story that I didn't have time to do things like that. These stories hold us back. They held me back too until I made a perspective shift and saw my world through a different lens. Many of the women I work with also fall into the same trap because as women we wear many hats beyond our business: wife, partner, mother, sister, daughter, friend, community leader, advocate, leader, listener, supporter, driver, house cleaner, cook, and so many more. We're often the foundation in our household that keeps everything running. So we tell ourselves we have no time. But I've learned over the years that when I prioritize myself and my business I have so much more time. That requires me to have boundaries, say no when something's not aligned, and even to get creative like I did when I decided to respond to Skool posts during my 2-3 minute breaks between weight training sets. Do you tell yourself you don't have enough time? Is there another story you're telling yourself that might be holding you back? Take a quiet moment to check in with yourself to see where you might be able to gain more time or perspective. ☺️
