What would you put on a road sign?
People over explain. Someone asks "what do you do?" or "tell me about your Skool community," and we're off to the races. The background. The process. The calls. The DMs. This came up on the Mastermind call, the community call, and my one-to-ones this week. It's just a thing. You have to do stuff to get people a result. We know that. But people care way more about the result than the stuff you do to get them there. You've seen the sign on the side of the road. WE BUY HOUSES. Phone number. Clear offer. You either keep driving or you take a picture and call. You see these every single day: - Cash for Gold. - We Buy Junk Cars. - Keys Made. - Ice. (I love this one.) - Free Estimates. - Injured? Call now. - Cracked Screens Fixed Today. - Firewood $5. - Lawn Mowing. Call Jake. Four words or less. They all name the outcome. None of them explain how. Nobody explains how they buy the junk car. They just buy junk cars. There's a guy on Skool who helps kids with the SAT. His offer is "Get a 1550+ SAT score." Five words. I've looked at that page a bunch of times and I've never once read how he does it. If I wanted a 1550, I wouldn't care. It sounds ridiculous. But it truly needs to be that simple. When I sold elevators, I said "I sell elevators." When I was doing real estate with seller financing and all that, I said "I'm a landlord." Three words. A couple weeks ago I played golf with some strangers. What do you do? "I teach people how to make money on the internet." One guy asked if I was a consultant. Sort of, more like a coach. Then everybody hit their tee shots and nobody brought it up again. That's fine. If they wanted to make money on the internet, they would have asked. And if somebody does ask how, answer the question they asked. Only that one. As few words as possible. Then ask them a question back. Homework. Two questions. Put your answers in the comments and we'll all help each other. 1. What would you put on your road sign? Four words if you can.

Very true. Thank you for the reminder. I just did 6 client calls and it all pretty much boiled down to this. Wonderful analogy with the road sign :)
What if...
I went live on TikTok every single day until this community gets to 10,000 members. I'm at 1,425 right now. Would it be worth it? Live every single day. 60 minutes minimum each time. How long do you think it would take me?

I have around 2k followers on TikTok. Not a single one has ever downloaded a lead magnet or joined my skool from short form. But I did get a client who found me from tiktok, liked me, then google me, found my youtube channel, then booked a call from there. Live is weird. Are you going to be teaching? Because people on tiktok are not in the right stage of mind to be educated from my experience. Personally, I'd focus on yt, and short form is just to share quick insights. But that's just me. Would be interesting to see what your data says :)
💡 Step 0: Declare Your Idea (Do This First)
Before you watch anything in the classroom, do this first. Most people who join this community have the same problem: Too many ideas. I know because I started 26 side hustles in 14 years before I finally figured out what works. The goal here is simple: Stop spinning. Pick one direction. Test it for 30 days. Not forever. Just one idea to test next. Your Step 0 Action Comment below with this: I want to help [who] solve [problem]. Examples: • I want to help remote workers fix neck pain • I want to help busy parents plan healthy meals • I want to help real estate agents generate more leads It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just needs to be something you're considering building. When you say something out loud, you force a decision. And decisions create momentum. Most people stay stuck because they keep researching instead of choosing. After you comment 👇 Go to the Classroom → Start Here and continue with: Step 1 🧭 Pick Your Direction That’s where we’ll narrow this down and turn it into something real. Drop your idea below 👇 Let's see what you're thinking. - Brian 🔥

I want to help [who] solve [problem]. I want to help parents over 40 know what to sell online before making content, building funnels, paying for ads or hiring a coach.

@Brian O'Neill People with a certain skill (usually a coach or a service provider) and they often are attracted to my stories on YouTube and are around my age and have children too. So it's kinda a combination of both.
Overthinking
👉 Watch the lesson. Action Steps: ✅ Set a 15-minute “decision window.” - Give yourself 15 minutes max to decide. - No more looping. ✅ Write down what you can’t control. - Let it go. Circle what you can control and act on it today. Choose one thing you've been overthinking and decide on it today. Comment what it was and what action you’re taking now.

I overthink my YouTube videos. I have a giant pressure that it must go viral, or else I'm a loser. This is so strong that I procrastinate from making youtube videos and gathering feedback/data
Analysis Paralysis
👉 Watch the lesson. Action Steps: ✅ Pick one path today. - No more researching. Just choose. - Put a 7-day “no new ideas” rule on yourself. ✅ Use the Clarity Filter: Ask yourself: - Do I like doing this? - Am I good at it? - Can it help someone? Drop what path you’re choosing in the comments. Commit to it for 7 days. No pivoting.

my offer is too 'complete' and most of my clients have problem 1 in my 'irresistible offer' Which is, the ability to see what makes them unique in the first place
