Merry Christmas! 🎄
I know how how it is to be a host and how this is likely to be a busy time for you if you have guests staying. (They are likely to have even higher expectations/demands than usual, amiright?!) So here's wishing you a peaceful, restful and happy break. And also the time and headspace to gather up your energy and intentions for 2026. PS - I'm sorry I've been quiet on here, lately I'm busy working on a whole new free course and action plan for the new year, so you'll be hearing more very soon!
Merry Christmas! 🎄

Welcome @Ettjen Jansingh - what a serene view! Have you had snow yet? My brother lives south of that area and they got snowed in a couple of weeks ago.

@Hafid Oba welcome Hafid - great GIF! We might well be picking your brains on the SEO side to help get more eyes on listings and websites..
Ever noticed how tiny design changes can completely change a guest’s experience? 🎨
I recently swapped out a couple of cushions and added a simple floor lamp in my living area. Nothing major, but the next guest review mentioned how “cozy and inviting” the space felt. It’s crazy how small details, lighting, textures, or even a well-placed mirror can impact first impressions and guest comfort. what’s one small design tweak you’ve done in your property that ended up making a big difference for bookings or reviews?

Yep, it can be so subtle it acts on a sub-conscious level. (Big) mirrors and statement lights are everything!
Pricing isn’t just numbers, it’s perception 💸
Guests rarely choose based solely on cost. How your property is presented (photos, description, amenities) can justify higher rates and better reviews. Even small adjustments in wording or image sequencing can influence perceived value. Other hosts, how do you decide your pricing strategy to maximize both bookings and guest satisfaction?

So true, @Ashley R. Guests will often value something they have paid more for. And as with any marketing and sales, you want to actively repel the type of guests who just want the cheapest option. By up-leveling your presentation you can completely avoid a race to the bottom on price. What type of property(ies) do you run at present?
