@Dustin Pratt yeah that sounds like a good idea. For some reason, when I’m out there, I forget about doing that and I just get fixated on correcting what we are doing instead of getting him to reset. I’ll try it, thanks!

I'm about one week in with using the leather training collar. We are transitioning from a prong collar, so I think it creates a little confusion on my dog's part. I'm wondering if I should be using the training collar exclusively, or just for training sessions. We also run a couple of miles every day, but I'm concerned the training collar could slip off so I don't use it while running. He actually pulls less with the prong collar but that could be because I'm not quite using the leather collar properly. Any tips/advice? I'll try to post a video here soon for reference.

@Jared Moss Yeah, my boy is super bold. No shyness/timidity in him. He challenges me constantly. Which can be exhausting. I know I need to introduce the e-collar but have been putting it off because I want to make sure, I am doing it correctly. I did watch your videos regarding e-collar intro, etc., so that was helpful. I will say that I think this is where the guys have the advantage because my upper body strength often is not enough to give him the correction he needs. But like you said, that is where the e-collar will help. I will definitely watch your hands as I agree that is probably where I am needing to change. I'm thinking about riding my bike with him as well, because he is just boundless energy and that makes training more of a challenge. He behaves much better after exertion. He does much better when I'm running-far less pulling and sniffing every square inch. It's when we are walking or moving at a slower pace that he is a mess! Thanks for the help.
