What would you put on a road sign?
People over explain. Someone asks "what do you do?" or "tell me about your Skool community," and we're off to the races. The background. The process. The calls. The DMs. This came up on the Mastermind call, the community call, and my one-to-ones this week. It's just a thing. You have to do stuff to get people a result. We know that. But people care way more about the result than the stuff you do to get them there. You've seen the sign on the side of the road. WE BUY HOUSES. Phone number. Clear offer. You either keep driving or you take a picture and call. You see these every single day: - Cash for Gold. - We Buy Junk Cars. - Keys Made. - Ice. (I love this one.) - Free Estimates. - Injured? Call now. - Cracked Screens Fixed Today. - Firewood $5. - Lawn Mowing. Call Jake. Four words or less. They all name the outcome. None of them explain how. Nobody explains how they buy the junk car. They just buy junk cars. There's a guy on Skool who helps kids with the SAT. His offer is "Get a 1550+ SAT score." Five words. I've looked at that page a bunch of times and I've never once read how he does it. If I wanted a 1550, I wouldn't care. It sounds ridiculous. But it truly needs to be that simple. When I sold elevators, I said "I sell elevators." When I was doing real estate with seller financing and all that, I said "I'm a landlord." Three words. A couple weeks ago I played golf with some strangers. What do you do? "I teach people how to make money on the internet." One guy asked if I was a consultant. Sort of, more like a coach. Then everybody hit their tee shots and nobody brought it up again. That's fine. If they wanted to make money on the internet, they would have asked. And if somebody does ask how, answer the question they asked. Only that one. As few words as possible. Then ask them a question back. Homework. Two questions. Put your answers in the comments and we'll all help each other. 1. What would you put on your road sign? Four words if you can.

@Rafa Alonso success is a moving target because life is a winding road. But if you know how to adjust and keep you authentic self and live with a mindset I grew up with it's actually quit freeing. I don't care about social status, who's the best, what people think of me, what I do or don't have. I enjoy my life, live with intention, create my surrounding life friends, family, etc and enjoy it, learn to slow down and relax. The fast pace of city life is like putting a wild animal (me) in a cage and I can not function. Most people actually can't. So change it by getting outdoors, wildlife, free of stress, free of status, free to breathe - anyway it's a mindset. But also how to make a living this way.

@Rafa Alonso I have an ebook that is quarterly. I will list one that has these topics. It’s educational, entertaining, a community. Mindset over zip code. A place without HYPE. I am diversified in making income. I have many sources. I am jack (or Jill) of all trades and master of many - skills in all kinds of dirrections. I help people find creative ways to enjoy life. This is a small sample. I have a website, merch, I’m building my bread making and garden growing to have a little “farm” stand and I don’t have a farm. When you live in the country or wilderness often too far to town often. So you become resourceful, get scrappy and creative, and enjoy the variety of life. My community is more to find ways to live this life. Not everyone has to have things measured out by data. I sure don’t. 🤔😉 I’m also an affiliate for a high ticket class that teaches you how to set up all your systems. Find ways to market to people. WiFi and Internet access changes how people make income. Most are stressed out and want to know how to get away from that stressed out life. But so in debt, so strapped, so stuck they can’t find a way forward. Does this help?
My first member after launch day…
I have my first Member today!!!! For some reason I had to approve her after she answered questions… 🤔 I have an email list, nice following on Instagram, YouTube is small, TikTok has some followers, Pinterest & Facebook. - I opened my skool yesterday and set it all up. I then set up a strategy - ya opposite of making 💰but I have my reasons. As an affiliate I’ve learned you have to make people want to come in and see what they get first. Bonuses, rewards, extras, and then referrals come when they are excited. They have to want to break out of comfort zone to try something new. Once they see the result then they are no longer strangers to the idea. So…. My advertising is based on referral system. After all is it more inviting to sit around a campfire (yes virtual) swapping stories with strangers or more Comfortable to bring a friend? 😉 I have worked out (prizes of my merch) Anyone that joins before Nov 1 is in for free for life, plus a company sticker (will be mailed) Anyone that is in the first 100 before 11/1 enters a drawing (bigger win) Anyone that refers 1 or more that join befoe 11/1 enters drawing for another (bigger win) The one with the most refers that join wins the grand prize That email went out. They get sent to my Stan store where I email from. They enter I get their email and now they are in my emailed funnel. They get my email with all the rewards listed and the link to skool. They enter the skool link and Answer my questions - now in my community. I also posted in my shorts on YouTube my Stan store link, my TikTok story, my Instagram accounts stories, and I have not yet told friends and family. That requires a different kind of invite more of who I know would love it. I for some reason had to approve them to enter skool. Not sure I like that part - but on my Stan store I have captured their emails where my main list lives and my funnel. My community is more of a lifestyle. So my stratigy can be different. I have systems that feed off each other.

5 out of 5. I am going to tell you why though. Bite sized but I did all of them. Even the ones I don’t personally deal with helps me understand psychology of my customers or my family and friends and I’d LOVE to just share each one with that person or persons. While some might be better than others really all are great. Worth money. !!!
Fear of Judgment
👉 Watch the lesson. Action Steps: ✅ Post something vulnerable today. Something real. ✅ DM 3 people and offer to help them—focus on service, not self. What’s one thing you’ve held back on because of judgment? Drop it in the comments—then go do it anyway.

I grew up and sometimes bullied by kids in school. I could care a less what anybody thinks of me. EXCEPT my kids, parents and close family. My current husband is extremely critical. So I have to hide this. He sees a video and he reeks me out all the time. Calls me names, tells me no one will ever like My content…. I’m artistic and creative and I know he’s wrong. But I have to block him for peace. So it’s not fear really other than having to listen to a very critical unsupportive person. He must really be unhappy or jealous.

How to Validate a Skool Community Idea (Before You Build Anything)
One of the biggest mistakes I made early on was building things nobody asked for. Full courses. Lead magnets. Digital products. Sound like you yet? All created in isolation. All launched with hope, and most of them quietly failed. So when I had the idea for what eventually became Mindset Skool, I refused to repeat that mistake. Instead of building the community first… I validated the idea before it existed. Here’s exactly what I did and how you can do the same thing. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐤𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 𝐈 𝐔𝐬𝐞𝐝 Before Mindset Skool ever opened its doors, I used two things only: • A waitlist • Low-budget Facebook ads That's it, nothing was built. Just a clear idea and a simple test. The goal wasn’t to “launch” anything. The goal was to answer one question: Do real people actually want this and will they pay for it? 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟏: 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚 𝐖𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 (𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲) I built a basic landing page that said, in plain English: “I’m thinking about building a Skool community around this problem. Before I open it, I want to make sure people actually want it.” If someone resonated, they joined the waitlist. No commitment, zero pressure, just raising their hand saying "I'm interested". 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟐: 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐀𝐝𝐬 I ran a single ad that I shot on my phone in my house. Zero production. Budget: $6 per day. The ad didn’t pitch a product. It described the problem: Overthinking. Imposter syndrome. Fear of charging. Getting stuck before you ever start. If someone related, they joined the waitlist. That’s validation. 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟑: 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 This part matters more than people realize. Once people joined the waitlist, I asked them: “What’s your number one roadblock right now?” Their answers became: • The content • The positioning • The first course • The promise of the community I didn’t guess. They told me. I listened. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 When I finally opened Mindset Skool… Not everyone from the waitlist joined. That’s normal. But enough people did to prove the idea was real.
