Hey Everyone I’m a few years in the industry and I feel it’s really important to start off commission until you get a solid clientele built. Obviously the end goal would be to work for yourself but make sure you are solid first! Don’t expect to make crazy money at first lol. One of the main things I have noticed since being out of school and that you really don’t know much. Definitely would recommend starting out at a haircut place to get your cuts down or find yourself a salon the offers a lot of education.
