Your One Reader
If you wrote a book… who is the one person it would help? Examples: • entrepreneurs • parents • individuals starting over • creatives • people navigating a health journey

I will start! When I wrote The Business Diaries, I had a very specific reader in mind. She was the person who dreamed of opening a brick-and-mortar business but had no idea where to start. Over the years, people who had visited my indoor playground would email me asking how I built it. They wanted to know about leases, insurance, equipment, pricing and team members. Eventually I realized that the same questions were coming up again and again. So I took the advice I had been sending in dozens of emails and turned it into a book. My new book, The First Draft Friday Club, has a different reader. This time, I’m writing for entrepreneurs and community leaders who know they have something meaningful to share but haven’t yet turned their ideas into a book. It’s for the person who doesn’t necessarily think of themselves as a writer but wants to grow their message, their brand, and their impact. The premise is simple: write your book one Friday at a time. Sometimes the difference between someone who dreams of writing a book and someone who actually finishes one is simply having a place to start. **This is also why I host my Zoom writing room on Fridays at 8am CST.

@CPR Instructor Kay I know a wonderful hybrid publisher who works with Amazon KDP if you want guidance. She also has a strategy to ensure you are a top seller on launch day. Check out: jessicadebry.co. If you don’t want any assistance at all, you can absolutely do that through KDP as well. You will just have to format the book on your own, design the cover and then upload it.
Your book’s title
What is the TITLE of the book you might write someday? Drop it below. No pressure. Just the working idea.

@Kim Job congratulations, how exciting! Please keep us posted on your updates and how we can help support your book launch. I love the first option! It sounds transformational while being clear. But they are all great!

@Pumehana Palmer nailed it! I love that saying and it’s so true. Gone are the days of running on fumes and ignoring our nervous system. Very powerful sounding book!
