Are you a NERD with Kids?
Have you ever thought of tabletop role playing games as a way to connect with your kids AND tap into their intrinsic motivation for learning? That is the adventure I am embarking on with my almost 6yo and in my brand new community: Tabletop Learners https://www.skool.com/tabletop-learners-7114/about?ref=ddd8c657269a4ceba2fb4e9d9d3e04ee Wearther you are an experienced player or have maybe heard of dungeons and dragons but have no clue what a TTRPG is.... you are welcomed! No experience needed! The community is brand new! So you'll get a say on where it goes! (And will get unique perks as I think about them and want to thank my founding members)

@Evelyn Szeinbaum once we get into a good rhythm for our new homeschool year, we may check it out
💛 Everything Counts. Especially THIS.
We're often remarkably good at noticing what we didn't do. - The post that flopped rather than the one that started a great conversation. - The task we didn't finish rather than the five we did. - The workout we missed rather than the two we completed. - The moment we lost our patience rather than the MANY moments we handled well. Sometimes we expect perfection — and anything short of that somehow doesn't quite count. I think one of the most supportive habits you can build for YOURSELF is the ability to notice what you did well. That positive reinforcement we so naturally give to someone we care about? You need some of that from YOU too. 💛 A few simple ways I've been practising this: ✅ ONE: Say it to yourself. When you handle something well, actually acknowledge it. "Good job." "Well done." "Nice work." "I'm proud of how I handled that." Whatever sounds like YOU. It might feel slightly strange at first. Do it anyway. 😆 ✅ TWO: Give yourself daily reference points for success. I still write three of these in my journal most days. Nothing enormous required. Sometimes they're simply small decisions, actions or moments that remind me: I'm making progress. I'm following through. This counts. ✅ THREE: Let it show up in your journaling. My number one rule for journaling? NO RULES! 😂 One sentence. One page. One hour. Whatever works for you. Lately, when it comes to mind, I've been finishing with: "You did well today, hon." And you know what? It feels REALLY good. Especially because not everyone has someone in their life regularly telling them that. Maybe you have a coach, cheerleader, super-supportive partner or wonderful friend. Maybe you don't. Either way, they're not inside your head 24/7. And... you ARE! Which makes the way you speak to YOU incredibly powerful. For better or worse. Let's make it for better. 💛 🌱 YOUR TURN: Before you scroll away, give yourself some credit. What's ONE thing you did well today? Big, tiny, seemingly ordinary — it ALL counts. 💛

@Heather Boers 👏👏👏 one thing at a time on the to-do list 💪❤️
This isn't just a community... It's a LIBRARY!
I have to talk about this community because I keep forgetting how much is actually packed into it. It's called 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗼 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺. I have followed @Sarah Peterson for some time now... we were in the same digital marketing community back in the day, and when she went off to build her own thing, I followed her for the homesteading, natural health, vaccine awareness, and homeschooling content she was providing. That was the draw. But since then, she's added so much more... I recently went back into the classroom and holy Hannah! 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. 𝙄𝙩'𝙨 𝙖 𝙇𝙄𝘽𝙍𝘼𝙍𝙔! • Telehealth Provider Directory • Herbal Remedies • Childhood Illness Library (because nobody wants to be scrolling at 3am with a feverish kid, trying to remember what to do for it) • Medical Freedom resources • DIY Vaccine Research Binder Project — Volumes I and II • MaxGen genetic testing • Homesteading Resources • Regenerative Farming • Raising Poultry & Livestock • Herbs & Oils from the Bible • Prepping for Emergencies • Legal Updates • Homeschooling • Podcasts & Documentaries • Hidden History • Mindset & Resilience • Faith & Spirituality • Know Your Rights • DIY Household Cleaners • DIY Personal Care Products • Work From Home • Even a Freedom Shop for handmade goods from other members It should honestly be called 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗜𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗬. And, yet, somehow it doesn't feel overwhelming... it's a "dig through it at your own pace" kind of place, not a "here's your homework" now go figure it out of space. So, if any of that sounds like your kind of rabbit hole, there's a 7-day free trial. 𝗚𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘁... because you will!
This isn't just a community... It's a LIBRARY!
