Before you look at your phone tomorrow morning — try this for 30 seconds. 🧠 Most people grab their phone the moment they wake up — and instantly flood their brain with cortisol-triggering information before they've even gotten out of bed. This one simple habit changes that. 👉 Both feet flat on the floor 👉 One hand on your chest, one on your belly 👉 Three slow breaths — in through your nose, out through your mouth 👉 Feel the weight of your body in the chair (or bed) That's it. You just activated your parasympathetic nervous system before the world got a chance to hijack it. 🌿 Done consistently, this small practice begins to rewire your baseline stress response over time — not because it's complicated, but because it's consistent. 30 seconds. My phone is my alarm so it has to be the first thing I reach for to shut it up 🤣 I don't breathe deeply enough so will add this to the morning routine

Do this for just 2 minutes before bed 🌿 Grab a pen and paper — not your phone. Write down every thought, worry, or task swirling around in your head. Don't organize it. Don't solve it. Just dump it all onto the page. This is called a cognitive offload — and neuroscience shows it frees up your working memory and lowers pre-sleep cortisol. Your brain has been holding all of that like open tabs on a computer. ✨ Writing it down is how you tell your brain it's finally safe to close them.
