Well, I thought the same… until I actually tried it. 😅 So today, I tested it on one of my old n8n projects. Gave it a detailed prompt, and within 3 minutes, it built the entire workflow. I was like, “Whoa, that’s fast!” But then… 💀 A code node error popped up, and after debugging a bit, I realized the workflow looked right but didn’t work right. That’s when it clicked — AI can give you the skeleton, but you still need to add the heart and brain: API keys, HTTPS connections, code nodes, data logic — all the stuff that makes it actually run. So yeah, it’s great for beginners to learn and test things quickly, but for pros, it’s just a head start — not a full replacement. A client came to me with a challenge: "I have 1000+ folders, each with multiple subfolders like courses. I want to convert all of them into ebooks. Can you create an n8n workflow for this?" I said: Absolutely! ✅ And delivered the workflow in just 4 days. Here’s how it works: 1. The workflow goes through each folder and subfolder to fetch all files. 2. It converts all file types (MP4, MP3, TS, CSV, XLS, PDF, etc.) into TXT format. 3. Then it extracts content from the TXT files and summarizes the text. 4. Using the summaries, it first creates an SOP for the course and then generates an ebook. 5. Both the SOP and ebook are saved in a document, which is then sent to Gamma.ai to convert the text-based ebook into a fully user-friendly ebook with visuals.
