What Tools Are We Using?
Hi all! I’m just getting started with my business, so I’m wondering what tools we’re using for things like email marketing, product hosting, website building, calendar scheduling, etc.. I’ve been trying out HighLevel for a while, but honestly, it’s a lot, and I’m not sure if I’m the biggest fan of some of the features. I would love tool recommendations from the community!

@Henriette Gladiator oo. What does it mean to be a GHL certified admin?
Adding value...
Hello all! Something I've been thinking about a lot lately as I try to intentionally build my email marketing is HOW to add value. (Particularly when it comes to education.) People are so inundated with all kinds of information that I'm not sure how to figure out what is valuable to them versus what will just be more white noise. I think a survey would be helpful in this, but I'm not quite there yet. I sometimes ask questions in my emails, but I usually only get a few responses. How do you make sure what you're sending is valuable to your audience?

Hey! I'm an online Punjabi tutor so when I do emails, I try give a quick win. So something they can implement now and can speak or read Punjabi because of it. Or I'll give them a story of a transformation that another student of mine and how they can potentially have a similar one. And don't worry about getting a few responses. I only get a few too, but when I meet some people or they sign up to things I sell/courses, they always mentioned they enjoy the tips in my emails.
90 Day Action Plan - Who else is growing?
Wow, it’s Q3! Took a little time to watch a couple of @Kylie Kelly ’s email starter kit videos. So easy to digest! I’m definitely in the growth stage, so I picked several strategies from that side of the V2 framework to focus on over the next 90 days. I want to keep networking (already leaning into this) and commit to applying to guest speaking + aligned summits & podcasts. I know that’s kind of a lot, but right now my list is <100 and I’ve been down to once a month emailing because I don’t really get any replies (and never any sales). Which is tough for me since I specialize in messaging πŸ˜” BUT it was an encouraging reminder that I probably only need to double my list size with ideal subscribers to move in the right direction! πŸ’ͺ

Nice! I'm using the V2 framework too. I've chosen YouTube (and I've posted 3 videos!) and website SEO from the long form side. And then podcasts/PR requests from the collabs side. What are you focusing on?

One of the goals of this intensive was to get your interactive offer out into the world - so let's do exactly that. On π—π˜‚π—Ήπ˜† πŸπ˜€π˜, I'll be sending an email to my email list featuring member-created interactive tools from this intensive. πŸŽ‰ If you'd like yours included, drop the following below: βœ… The name of your tool βœ… A 1-2 sentence description of what it helps people do βœ… Your opt-in page link (not the direct GitHub or Claude link) A couple of guidelines: ✨ Make sure the opt-in page is complete and working ✨ Make sure the tool is connected and accessible after opting in ✨ Test everything before submitting it ✨ Please submit by June 30 so I have time to test the links, review everything, and put the email together before it goes out on July 1. This isn't a competition and it doesn't need to be perfect. If you've built something useful, I'd love to help get some eyes on it. πŸ’œ Let's celebrate what you've created and get these tools in front of thousands of business owners who are actively looking for new ideas, resources, and solutions πŸ™Œ p.s A dedicated email feature like this would normally be a paid opportunity (I currently charge $250+ for sponsored placements). Consider this my thank-you for showing up, building something, and actually taking action. πŸ’œ

@Kylie Kelly I have indeed, but was feeling a bit of FOMO so here is my really rough v1. I'm shocked how easy this was to make. Flip the tiles and it shows you the letter, I'll add an audio on pronunciation and a word. πŸ™‚

🚨 Your email platform can now talk to AI πŸ‘€
Yep. This is officially a thing. Both Kit + Flodesk are rolling out AI integrations that let you connect tools like ChatGPT / Claude directly to your email platform. Meaning you could potentially ask things like: ✨ β€œWhich of my emails got the most clicks?” ✨ β€œDraft a welcome sequence for new subscribers.” ✨ β€œShow me inactive subscribers I should re-engage.” ✨ β€œWhat patterns do you notice in my top-performing emails?” VERY cool. Also… mildly terrifying? πŸ˜‚ Because depending on the platform, AI may be able to actually take action - not just give suggestions. I recorded a quick video breaking down: - what this actually means (in normal human language) - why it could be amazing for beginners - what I personally would NOT let AI touch yet πŸ˜… - whether this is genuinely useful… or just shiny object energy Question for you: πŸ‘‡ Would you actually connect AI to your email platform? Team YES πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ Team ABSOLUTELY NOT 🚩 Team β€œI need to watch this video before I decide” πŸ˜‚

I saw this in GHL too. They've introduced a beta version of AI which is interesting... I'm still skeptical on AI but it's something I guess with any tech, use it for the good parts and leave the bad parts. Even my 5 year old son has started saying "mummy chatgpt is better than google assistant" πŸ˜‚
