Okay, so this was suppost to be a QnA reply but golly this topic is a chunky monkey. Below is my attempt at giving some handy dos and don't in relation to bud along with some supplements I think are worth your attention. This subject is one filled with passion and a fair bit of folk lore. I hope I dont step on anyone's toes with this. Without further yap and ado on my part... Canabis exists in this grey area of being both clinically useful while carrying some health/wellbeing risks that I don't think are worth ignoring. Weed Do's 1) Track your consumption, this may sound silly but track how much you are actually smoking/eating. so for example: 3 joints 2 50mg edibles x weight in a bong. you get the idea, we want to make sure that consumption isnt slowly creeping up as thats where issues can arrise. Ideally 70mg (14 units) of pure THC is the upper weekly amount to avoid heavy tolerance and or dependancy issues 2) Use Dry Herb Vaporizers or Low dose edibles: If inhaling, switch from combustion to a temperature controlled dry herb vaporizer to avoid toxic combustion products. If you are taking edibles make sure you are taking cbd alongside of it to help co8unter some of the issues thc can cause. 3) following on from that last point... Choose Balanced THC:CBD Ratios: Select products that contain equal or higher amounts of CBD relative to THC to help protect against paranoia and memory impairment. CBD is an incredible compound with a very long list of benifits from neurological health, anti inflammation, mental health etc... 4) Take regular tolerance breaks, a month would be ideal, but at a minimum 7 days when every you feel your tolerance starting to build. You can keep using CBD during this period. Weed No Nots: 1) avoid like the plague any form that boasts high THC content, this is what leads the majority of weeds issues! 2) Try and avoid using it for sleep, I understand that a lot of folks use Weed as a sleep aid and if you genuinly need it for sleep then I would attempt to ween yourself off it for that reason and look to more healthy alternatives. I will put a protocol at the bottom along with links. HOWEVER, smoking 2 to 3 hours pre bed to calm down in the evening is okay and may even help sleep quality!
