Current Status - Part 8 or whichever I'm on now...
Received results back from lab on 2 air samples & a dust sample from work, from inside these machines that sort mail, where I worked and often found myself sticking my head into, in order to make a repair. Results showed higher levels of certain unknown "opaque" particles and other unknown particles, likely of a "construction toxin" nature, meaning paint, pigment, ink, adhesive, and heavy metals nature. Not good. But, expected, based on the awful symptoms I have experienced when working on those mail sorting machines at times. What are the long term affects of inhaling and having these dust particles absorbed through the lungs, eyes, the skin? What are the short term effects? I know they are for me, neurological in nature, causing debilitating vision impairment and coughing, or respiratory distress. Not good, not healthy, not right. Awareness, honest disclosure, preventive, reductive & even elimination measures should & must occur if we care for each other at all.
