Etsy vs. Shopify
Salams, So I know that using Shopify is probably the best route. But I’m wondering if you’re only starting with a couple of products would Etsy make more sense or does it not matter?

Wa Salam! I think it depends more so on the type of product you are selling and also your audience. Etsy does a lot of its own marketing for you but you are very limited to how your storefront looks versus creating your own website from scratch on Shopify. I initially started on Etsy and was able to grow a lot of new customers/followers that way, but have recently switched to having my own website over the past year and it has been so much nicer being able to customize everything on it and there’s a lot of fun features I couldn’t do with Etsy. I feel like the main “downfall” with Shopify is that I have to do a lot more of my own promoting/marketing to direct people to my website than when I only used Etsy. IsA this helps 🙂
