Skill and unpredictability
I have been dwelling on a facet of skill that I've labeled unpredictability. I have been coaching kids on what makes a player skillful in association football compared to less skilled ones, and one central aspect seems to be unpredictability. This aspect seems to apply to many other endeavors, like writing, humor, fighting, and chess: if your opponent or audience knows what your next move is, then you are nowhere near top level. I'm new at coaching and find it rewarding to spread Peter Ralston's ideas about principles whenever I find the chance

@Viktor Balogh I like to illustrate it by using real life examples of a footballer. https://youtube.com/shorts/lindvp-jI6A?is=a9pwit0aTplGWuxo Most defender knows what Arjen Robben usually does. However, the questions with him was when he was going to do his classic move.

@Diego Arzola thanks,
How the geography affects identity
This question has been dwelling in my mind for a long time. In a subconscious attempt to be accepted by peers or family, you might find yourself acting out roles. It may be a smaller follow-up to the question “Who am I?”, but still, I believe there is value in contemplating it.

One activity or principle that opened up many possibilities for me is questioning. In this case, I’m quite privileged because my geographic location results in only minor consequences for doing so.

@Devin Henderson questioning stuff. It’s more ok the openly question everything here than in other places, like culture, authority and things alike.
What Led You Here
What opened the door for you? I'm curious to know — what was it that stirred your search for truth? Was there a moment, an experience, or even a quiet discomfort that led you to this path of consciousness work? What shifted in you that made the question of “what’s true” no longer avoidable?

It’s a mixture of ending suffering and an intuition that pursuing truth is the most worthwhile endeavour in life.

I like the idea of challenging myself even though that self might be a slippery non-thing.
