This year I want to engage the members of our community more. My friend @Aliyah Hunter will be assisting me with writing personalized poems for each of you. Poetry is therapeutic and we're here to help you turn your pain into passion and passion into purpose. Who's 1st?

Haiku is a form of traditional Japenese poetry, renowned for it's simple yet hard-hitting style. They often take inspiration from nature and capture brief moments in time via effective imagery.

"Haylo" 😇 I dont like to say (Hello = Hell Low) when I meet people, because psychologically I want to speak to thier psychic and project a positive thought or self image of a person being an angel when I speak to them, instead of a devil. How do you project positivity when you meet people?

Do you want to know what it feels like, To live in, The skin I was born in. Well it’s like the color BLUE... Just by your appearance or description, Some people will prejudge you. Who are they to make assumptions, Not knowing whether or not they’re true. But simply because they refuse to ask, That’s exactly what they do. I’m not so gloomy and depressing, As you may THINK. But cool, calm and collective, Like a soft shade of PINK. But as quick as a BLINK, I’m angry INSTEAD. Blowing smoke like a fire As I turn blazing RED. My heads not hung low, But held high with ESTEEM. And just because I’m proud to be me, My enemies are enviously GREEN. So leave my SCENE, And retreat to the opposite end of God's color SCHEME. For I have SEEN the YELLOW on your Back's. So proceed with caution, And RESPECT me, BLACK!

This poem is about a beautiful woman that I met and had the pleasure of loving. I was so in infatuated with her essence that I didn't want anyone else to have access to her beauty, so I foolishly tried to dim her light. Until the unforgettable day that I had to finally let her go. :-(
