My EVC 1070 BEV pushers say battery electric vehicles are the next generation of cars. They criticize the other side, claiming that gasoline-powered cars are far behind the times. It’s controversial, but why has the BEV push gained so much momentum? Because governments have misguided people into believing that BEVs are the answer to carbon neutrality—a claim I think is completely bogus—and have handed out huge subsidies on that basis. Now, subsidy cuts, a lack of charging stations, and high insurance costs are standing in the way of widespread BEV adoption.
