Hi Peller, welcome!
Where do people even find Competitions
Literally website I've crawled through has them listed for 2023-25.

Hey Richard! What type of competitions are you looking for? (science fair, olympiads, robotics, entreprenuership related etc.)

@Richard E For writing, I'd recommend the John Locke Essay Competition and the Queen's commonwealth essay competition (if you are eligible). They're both annual, although the 2025 competition hasn't started yet. As for olympiads, based on which field you're interested in, try participating in your country's olympiads that selects your country's respective teams for the 13 main olympiads. In the United States, there's AMC and then AIME for IMO seelction, USACO for IOI selection, and so on
Should I make a portfolio or a resume now?
So, as I am currently in high school. I was wondering if now is the right time to make a portfolio or a resume. Should I make it? Should I also open a linkedIn too?

Yes! Making a porfolio/resume is a great way to track everything you've done and showcase your experience for new opportunities. And if you're at least 16, I'd definitely recommend joining LinkedIn - you can get a lot of internships and opportunities from there and it's a great place for professional networking!

@Nowshin Jahan Jhelek No problem lol!
HVTSP
Has anyone participated in the Harvard Ventures-Tech Summer or Winter Programs? If yes, could you share what the program entails and if it is worth it? Their website doesn't exactly include a lot of information about what you actually do in the program, so any information would be helpful!

@Rahma Robleh I think they do offer financial aid, though
AP Help
I am scared I am going to do poorly on some of my AP test especially APUSH and AP comp sci. Are there any resources you guys recommend? because most 1 on 1 tutoring options I have seen are very expensive.

I'd highly recommend the Fiveable study guides for both and Heimler's History for APUSH (this one YouTube channel helped me survive self-studying for AP World)
