Just Launched my first courses, now what?
I have been building my YouTube channel for nearly 8 years now and have reached a subscriber count of 280,000 with over 30 million views. I teach home improvement with a huge emphasis on Drywall so I started courses on a website I called the Drywall Academy. It’s at www.drywallacademy.com if you want to check it out. I said it up with a free level and then a bronze, silver and gold level and will provide more advanced training at the higher levels. I currently have it set up as a membership but I’m going to make most of the courses available for a one time purchase also. For several years I have been building an email list and I have close to 2000 people in that list. I also gave away a free e-book on my Drywall Academy and so far I have around 300 people on that email list. Now I’m in the process of learning how to build the course out to properly solve my viewers problems and give them the education they want. The second huge challenge is how to properly market the course and get the word out. I am just now learning that and feel I have a long ways to go. If anyone has any advice on articles or videos to help me in that direction, it would be appreciated. I also released an e-book and paper book on Amazon about understanding and choosing the proper drywall tools and materials so I also have to market that and promote it. Thank you. Guy Purcella

Some of the things I’m planning on doing are, creating quizzes on my community tab but pointing them to the Drywall Academy for the full answer, providing training content to my 1800 email list users and of course pointing them to the Drywall Academy for more in-depth information on that subject, and doing the same to the email list I’ve built by giving away free e-books. I’ll find ways to give away more free e-books, and yes I’ll do videos where I teach a little bit of a subject but tell them for more in-depth information they can get that from the Drywall Academy. Any other ideas are welcome

$100-150k, to live life without worry over money anymore, to be able to build our dream home before it's too late, (wife is 70), to have fun, travel in a safe, comfortable motorhome, and to help others. I want to give back to organizations like the Gary Sinese foundation, and many more. And earning more allows me to put out better videos and courses helping more people.
