How would you start in a new city?
Yesterday I was singing karaoke, a few hours later, I was stuck at Prague airport, and today I am writing this from Málaga. I landed, grabbed my backpack, and started with the basics. Local data SIM and a hostel. A hostel is my default first station when I arrive somewhere new, not because of the bed, but because of the people. It is the fastest way to collect contacts. Once I checked in, I switched into “Columbo mode”. Do you remember that iconic detective who would observe everything and piece together reality like a puzzle? That is exactly how I explore a city when I am starting from scratch. I pay attention to everything. Flyers on shop windows, job offers taped to bar doors, event invitations stuck on street lamps. I take photos of them, or write them down, even if they are not directly for me. You never know when they might become useful for networking. After roughly five to ten kilometres of scouting, I sat down for a coffee and went through what I had collected. Then I opened Meetup, Eventbrite, and Couchsurfing to see if anything was happening nearby. On Meetup I found this this international gathering starting at nine in the evening, so I went. A few new contacts secured. My trick is to never leave with just a goodbye. I always ask the organisers if they run a WhatsApp or Telegram group. Those groups are gold. Active people, eager to connect, full of event tips. Thanks to that, I already know there is a hiking community here. For today, I booked a different accommodation in another district. It is an hour’s walk away, and I won’t take public transport because I want to expand my horizons and the GPS center in my brain. As for my agenda, today I will be advancing the collaborations I opened in Prague last week. I also want to think through how I will use the new tiers feature that Skool will be upgrading for us in the coming days, and how I will set up business models for each community so I can implement them as soon as it becomes available. I also want to scout yachting clubs to start building contacts for scaling Yachtusiasts, and I’m already playing with the idea that our Community Investment Summit 2027 could take place on a boat rather than on land. I saw the Nomad Cruise concept for digital nomads and thought that combining the useful with the fun wouldn’t be a bad idea. But that is far ahead for now. Right now, my focus is on expanding Acquire Community with more buyers, getting a feel for the yachting industry, and finding a co-tycoon

Have You actually moved to Málaga? Wow the footage from the Video looks amazing! The cloudless sky, the Palm trees, the energy and 26 degrees 👌. Your schedule sounds super interesting. Especially Columbo mode, Never heard of that. I‘m not that aggressive, when it comes to Networking. It just casually happens (in the plane, at the pool, at a bar, at the gym). I don’t like Hostels that much to be honest 😆. I like my privacy at Night when I travel. Sharing my room with foreigners is a Little to much for me

@Jakub Pacanda I will definitely share alot in this Community. I saved a little amount in the past years, so I don’t have to (and more important don’t want to) worry about Money. And especially SEA is not that expensive. I calculated that this trip will cost me around 40€ per day. In total, including all the flight this will lead to ~ 4k. As I told you I‘m currently working on a Special project (it’s still a secret what exactly, i‘ve told Nobody what it is ). And if everything plays out as planned, it will also generate me remote income by the end of the year.
Passion > Success
Hey guys I’m Gürdal from Germany and well this is my story… 6 Years ago, I was at the first turning point in my life. Until then I was a gambling addict, Smoking weed with no ambitions and goals in life. Then I went to Bali on a self discovery trip and I set myself a goal. The goal to become rich and successful so I can travel all the time… The past 4 years I was the owner of two companies. (A local grocery delivery store and an online shop). I sacrificed all my time for these businesses and in my free time I was always trying hard to be as much productive as possible. No time for friends, family and myself… Then about two years ago, I dealt a lot with the topic of finding your passion. I’ve read some Paulo Coelho and John Strelecky and actually some magic happened and I had an Idea, something I truely wanted to create from the bottom of my heart. Not for the success or the money, just for the joy. I found my passion. But the problem was, I was still stuck in this entrepreneur lifestyle, that I couldn’t break out. So I ignored “my passion” and I got sick. Time by time I felt extremely dizzy and exhausted, I started throwing up randomly, I’ve dealt with fever but the doctors couldn’t find anything. Until I came to the conclusion that this thing I had could be a type of burnout. So I closed my companies 3 months ago and I started to heal again. People might think that I failed. But that’s not how I see it. I actually think that the universe did me a favor. It give me this “sickness”, so that I would have no other choice to start all over again and now that I can now shape my life in such a way that I can now enjoy the journey more than achieving my goal. That I can follow my passion and built what I wanted to build the past two years and even be able to combine it with traveling. I will go to Thailand, Laos and Vietnam soon and next year I will visit some South American countries and I’m super excited :D Thanks for your time guys! For those who are interested I made a little video on YouTube:

@Jakub Pacanda hey Jakub! The past weeks I‘ve been setting everything up to realize my two month trip around South East Asia. It was a bit stressful, but I finally managed everything and booked my flight from Frankfurt to Bangkok on Tuesday. So excited and looking forward to it :D How about you my friend?
