When you want to add links in your LinkedIn posts, know that the algorithm dings you for that and will not show your post as much. LinkedIn does not want to send traffic outside of their platform. But sometimes we just need to add those links. Saying "link" in comments is no longer good practice there, you also get dinged. Plus, you don't want your user fishing for them. Adding them to your post when LinkedIn pre-populates a box with an image and a link is also not good (algorithm dings you a few points). ⭐ Best practice for links (only if you must!) is to add the link to your post. Then X out of the pre-populated box so it doesn't show. And just have the link inside the text. That will ding you the least. Happy posting!
