Favorite Turkey Day food
Whats your favorite dish on the thanksgiving day table? Ill go first- mine is the stuffing. i love good stuffing. and on my table we have home made humus as well. goes great with stuffing.

I make a from scratch organic pumpkin pie. In September, I start by slow baking the pie pumpkin (cut in quarters) then I scoop the insides into a mixing bowl. I then add my spices and puree into a good mixture. This gets frozen until the day to bake the pies. Why? Because pie pumpkins (smaller and oranger) are not available to me in November only September. Next, I start with butter cut into small chunks and organic flour with ice water and begin to make the crust. Lastly, I combine everything together and bake. Oh my, I can smell it now. It is unlike any pumpkin pie you can buy in the store. I have to make 2 because Will sabotages one of them and eats it. I want to make sure everyone gets a slice. Now my mouth is watering...lol
