Embarkation day, how do you actually do yours?
We have done 36+ cruises now and our embarkation day routine has completely changed! We used to get the earliest boarding slot, do our muster drill, go and explore the ship, grab some cocktails and find a good spot for sail away. Now, we actually head onboard pretty late! So I am curious, how does YOUR embarkation day actually go? Do you try to board as early as possible or do you hang back and arrive later? What is the first thing you do once you’re on board? Do you explore the ship straight away or head for food first? After the safety drill, pool deck, bar, cabin, or something else? Do you have any embarkation day traditions or rituals? There is no right answer here.😂 Drop yours below, I want to hear how you lot do it.

We always try to get on as early as possible, then grab a drink somewhere with a great view. And of course while enjoying the view and drink we talk about how grateful we are for a life full of wonderful travels.
Where are you going for breakfast…
I posted a video on my socials yesterday around how we tend to avoid the buffet on cruise ships at breakfast as they can be pretty crazy…😅🍽️ It is getting a debate going so I would love to know where you guys prefer too!👇

We mostly like relaxing on our balcony while having our breakfast, so room service is our first choice. But if the weather is less than desirable, we prefer the MDR over the buffet.
You Get ONE Upgrade. What Are You Choosing?
I am curious to know what you guys pick if you could ONLY choose one.😅👇 Or, is there something below you always get, and it is a non negotiable when it comes to your cruises? Let me know in the comments. 😊🛳️

Specialty dining would be my pick.
Let’s get to know each other
We have got a growing community here and I am curious where everyone’s loyalty sits (or doesn’t).😅 If your loyalty does sit with one cruise line, it would be great to know why!👇 Or, if I have not mentioned your cruise line, pop it in the comments below!☺️👇

We like HAL because they have smaller ships. The longest we have ever waited in line for something was 5-10 minutes. Getting a good seat for the main stage entertainment and finding available deck chairs has never been a problem.
What is more important to you…
Shared something on my Instagram, and it interesting to see a mix of answers with this question! I personally always choose the itinerary over the ship, but I understand there are lots of factors to this decision, one being who you are travelling with! I would love to hear your thoughts😊👇

@Katrina Edginton I agree. We would like to stick with one cruise line but itinerary always drives the choice.

Love to travel! We have traveled to 18 countries since 2012 and currently have 4 cruises and a land tour booked that will get us to 15 more.
