Topical authority: becoming a known expert on a single topic. I use a simple process to use AI tools to create a mindmap that illustrates what I am going to do, and I use this for projects, website wireframes, course outlines, blog outlines—pretty much everything. Here is my process: Prompt: My goal is to think of topics that I can share in [my business]. Before you answer, I need you to ask me some questions to make sure that you can give me the absolute best answer possible. I need to determine the main topic I want to talk about and then create a list of 8 subtopics. From there, each of those subtopics will become a bucket, and each bucket needs to have 4 items inside of it. Then, the next step is to create 4 ideas to talk about those items. At the end, I will have one main topic, 8 subtopics that relate to the main topic, then 32 buckets (3 for each subtopic), and then I will have 128 content ideas from your response when we decide you have enough information to create it. Take it easy; we need to get this right. Make sure to ask me all the questions you need to in order to generate the best response. my business. business = describe your business, and query the AI for clarity ____ Then you go through the process, usually going back and forth two to three times. When you get the final product, you instruct it again: Can you turn the topics, subtopics, and buckets into a mindmap in Markdown Language, please? ______ Then, you visit the site https://markmap.js.org/ to turn it into the image I have attached. It is a PNG, so you can expand it without loss by scrolling you rmouse wheel. What I do is also use a browser extension (https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/) to grab the entire image after exporting it as HTML. The whole process? Minutes. The look on your clients faces when you show them the result and they realize they have an entire year's worth of individual content, semantically related to the main topic, with the ability to create various versions of the content ideas? Priceless.
