Love this idea of a curated library club. I read Hero with a Thousand Faces years ago and use Campbell’s Hero’s Journey in my story arcs. The opening passage here is excellent: https://www.skool.com/thealiveinstitute/classroom/450790b5?md=328df3746cfb483c85e7734e09f80a35
Transformational book indeed! The library list will keep growing. If you have any recommendations for Ant Thropolodiegeat let us know. Let’s Get Lit! 📚
Hi. I have unlocked the Pro Level classrooms (wish they would be available sooner but well worth the wait) and am in the lesson on Logline vs Tagline. I understand that a Logline is something me as the writer would create and use in a pitch (meeting or deck) but is creating a tagline something I need to be concerned about or is it the movie studio marketing departments job to come up with that? Thanks.
The answer is yes. A Logline is imperative for a screenwriter. A Tagline, while fun to riff and play around with, is not essential to telling or selling your story in the creation phase. 🎯
and I understand about wanting the Pro Level classrooms unlocked sooner. That’s something we can look into for sure. I’m glad you have progressed that far. 🎯
Leaf a comment below, listen to a DJ Honey Drizzles Playlist or directly import your iTunes playlist into the Auditory Stories Room to keep the musical buzz flowing.
@Olivia Bruce Yes. As you progress through the courseplay more playlists will be added. Word is that DJ Drizzles is hoping to include playlists personally tailored to each student at some point in the future. 🎶
