Why Did You Stop Thinking Like a Kid?
Today I spoke to a group of high school students. The gist of the presentation was this: 1. You will become what you believe you are worth 2. To build something real, become someone who is reliable, selfless, and shows up for others first 3. Do the things that scare you. Overcoming fear is where confidence is built. This presentation made me genuinely question if I am living up to the version of myself I thought I'd be when I was a kid. When you are in that position on stage (or posting content), it's important to back up and be about what you speak about. What a blessing it is to prove to yourself everyday that you can become the person you thought you could be when you were little. I do this by posting content, running my business, running long distances, solo traveling, and building community. There are always uncertainty in life. Will I get married? Will I build a following? How will I make money when I move to a new city? Will I be able to sell my business? But, look at the PROGRESS you make over time by staying consistent!!! Speaking on that stage, I realized how far I'd come. I've run three full marathons. I've built my business to the point where I can travel and still have income. I'm posting content everyday on TikTok. I'm not saying this to boast, but more so as a journal to myself and to you that you can get to where you want to go. Hold the vision. Stay consistent. Surround yourself with like-minded people. Push yourself to try new things and build community. Hold tight to the Lord. And He will provide. Hope this helps someone!!

Honoring David
Haven't been in in a while and tbh David's Retreat reflection drew me back in today. I just want to honor him and his obedience to the Lord and how he is being called up. It inspires me. Causes me to ask God about where and how He wants me to move in my life in this season of preparation. Keep going my brother. You are crushing it.

Release It
❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼💔🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼 Release It He said to His disciples, “Offenses will certainly come.” Luke 17:1, HCSB It’s impossible to live with people, and especially your family, and they not hurt your feelings, disappoint you, say things that they shouldn’t. If you let the offenses in, let that poison in, live sour and revengeful, holding a grudge, thinking about what they did, you’re wasting your emotional energy. That’s energy you’re not going to have for your dreams, to love your children, to enjoy your spouse. You have to understand that some people will lash out at you, be disrespectful, and say things that hurt your feelings because they haven’t dealt with their own hurts and wounds and are bitter and angry. But what they say or how they treat you doesn’t determine who you are. The next time someone offends you, you have to say, “God, I forgive them, and I’m not going to dwell on it. I’m putting all my energies into what’s ahead and not into what’s behind.” If you get into this habit of forgiving quickly, it won’t take root. The best thing you can do is release it. Let it go and keep moving forward. Prayer For Today “Father, thank You that I can forgive and release others from past offenses and hurts. Thank You that I can drop whatever it is and let it go, knowing You will make things right. I declare that I am leaving any offenses in Your hands and moving forward. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Astonished
❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼💔🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼 Astonished When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said, “Oh, Lord, please leave me—I’m such a sinful man.” For he was awestruck by the number of fish they had caught, as were the others with him. Luke 5:8–9, NLT Peter and his partners had fished all night and caught nothing, but the following morning he obeyed Jesus’ word to let down their nets again, and this time they caught so many fish that their nets began to break. These professional fisherman were astonished by what God did and soon left their nets to follow Jesus. The Scripture says, “Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” He is going to do some things that will overwhelm you with awe. He’s going to take you further than you’ve imagined. You’re going to overcome obstacles that seem permanent. What God is calling you to do will astonish you. The dream He’s placed in your heart may look impossible to accomplish, but something inside says, “Yes, this is for you.” That’s your destiny calling. This is not the time to let fear hold you back. Now is the time to stir up your faith. Don’t talk yourself out of it; talk yourself into it. Pray bold prayers. Dare to obey Jesus’ words and take steps of faith. Go out and perform awe-inspiring deeds. Prayer For Today “Father, thank You that You are the God who spoke worlds into existence, and You know how to bring astonishing blessings to my net. Help me to start taking steps of faith that open the door to Your favor. I’m going to keep believing Your Word and casting my net. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
