Pixels need for 300dpi = inches x 300 Max size you can print 300dpi = pixels / 300 A2 print you need 16.5 x 23.4 inches or 4950 x 7020 pixels for 300dpi If you have a 2400 by 3000 pixel image you can print an 8x10" print at 300dpi If you see 1200 by 1500 pixel but it says at 150dpi it means you would be printing 8x10" at 150dpi but the same image printed at 4x5" would be 300dpi.

Why is Pricing different on Etsy then my listing
Hey everyone, I'm looking for some advice. In my print shrimp template I used the suggested pricing guide but the pricing is different on my Etsy listing. Is this normal and if so why does it differ? (Apart from the fact I'm offering print only and Framed options) Any tips, I'd love to hear them. Thanks

I think it works something like this… It’s to do with delivery profiles and shop settings. On a UK shop with a UK based delivery profile if I set 10.99 Etsy shows 10.99 to a UK buyer to a US buyer it converts it in real time to USD. However, a 3.54 listing price on my digital download looks like 4.25 to some looking at it from the UK as Etsy adds its VAT. The only way to set US of a set amount would be to set my shop currency to USD but then my UK prices would fluctuate based on on FX rates..

Midjourney Poster
Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone had an order in size A0 or A1 poster using midjourney that you upscaled x4? Was the poster clear? Print Shrimp guidance is that your poster should be 300DPI but I remember one of the videos mentioned that a midjourney poster upscaled x4 will be perfectly fine when someone orders in a large size (even though midjourney images are not 300DPI, I think they are 150DPI).

You can run a home test for a rough idea... just slap the A0/1 poster on a A5 canvas and print that section... for my stuff A2 was about OK above that was a no.

Stick with what you can find for free. A lot of these are just paywalls to get to stuff you can most likely find online already. Or with a bit of research work it out. If I hear "I'm a 7 figure Etsy seller, going to teach you all my tips... but pay me some more money..." one more time...

Can I have some advice please? I already have an Etsy shop, selling digital products and I haven’t opened another one yet because of obviously they cost money, but wanted us for somebody to have a look at my shop and see what they think my prints still need to go into a different section that’s a job for today and also ChatGPT as recommended that I only sell the A series, I think because of the we’re not sure of the resolution of my print, how can I check the resolution for the different sizes? I’m so confused. I don’t know. I need a bit of guidance here. And then there’s the pricing and I’ve not changed anything on the pricing. @Rebecca Wilmore this all comes down to your computer and the final image size you are aiming for. Older machines will struggle. It's one of those things you are going to have to "allow time for" :)

@Rebecca Wilmore You do not need the upscaled images to do your mockups only use the highres ones for sending to print (i.e. when you fulfil and order).
