6 contributions to AI Automation Society
Nobody warned me AI could be this powerful for everyday people.
I used to think automation was only for coders or big companies. But once I built my first simple workflow, everything changed. It’s not about being technical, it’s about thinking in systems. Automate once. Benefit repeatedly. That’s the real power behind what we’re learning in AI Automation Society. If you’re new, start with one repetitive task and automate it. If you’ve been here a while, what’s one automation you built that you’ll never do manually again?
I found a smarter way to automate without being “techy.”
When I joined AI Automation Society, I thought automation meant coding and complicated setups. Turns out, it’s about strategy, not being technical. The real shift? Knowing what to automate and using simple tools to build smart systems. Less manual work. More leverage. If you’re new here and feeling overwhelmed, you’re closer than you think. What’s one task you’d automate first?

Hey, I get how frustrating that can be you’re definitely not alone with this one. From what you’re describing, it usually means the webhook is returning references (IDs) to the structured outputs, not the resolved payload itself. In most cases, you need to explicitly fetch or expand those structured outputs using the returned ID, or make sure your webhook configuration is set to return the full structured object, not just the identifier. Happy to dig into this with you and figure out exactly where it’s breaking. What tool or framework are you using to handle the webhook, and how are you defining the structured output on the Vapi side?

@Abdullah Ovais Great question, this usually comes down to how the Webhook Response is configured in n8n. In most cases, when you’re only getting structured output IDs, it means the workflow is returning a reference instead of the resolved object. A few things that often fix this: • Make sure you’re using a Webhook Response node (not relying on “Respond immediately”). In the response body, explicitly map the entire structured object (e.g. {{$json}} or the specific node output), not just the ID field.• If the data comes from another node (HTTP Request / AI / Function), ensure “Return All” or full object output is enabled there.• Also check that the webhook is set to “Last Node” response mode so n8n doesn’t auto-truncate the payload. I’ve seen this a lot when integrating AI or external APIs once the response mapping is explicit, the full object comes through cleanly. Curious: are you triggering the webhook synchronously or returning the response after additional processing? Also, are you using a Function node to reshape the data before responding?
Experienced n8n expert needed!
Anyone, who knows how to make systems and have built previously. I need those one to fix one of the facebook ads automation system, you must've worked with notion, supabase. So you can easily understand the project. Everything is done just one or two steps remaining. Dm me if you're an expert.

Hey, this sounds interesting. I’ve worked on building and fixing automation systems before, including projects that connect tools like Notion and Supabase, so I should be able to understand your setup pretty quickly. I’d be happy to take a look and see if I can help you close out those last steps. If you’re open to it, we can continue the conversation and talk through the system in more detail. Let me know and we can connect
