Time. I'm trying to secure FT work to pay bills. The past few months have been less than ideal. I'm drawn to Skool and idea of building a community, but it is not a quick win for creating income. I've made some good progress this week on my About page. Still a little more to do. I probably need to do this after hours and set a time for Skool as it's so easy for me to stop in and see what's happening and stay here longer than I need to. Discipline. Yup, those two words. Time and Discipline. If I discipline myself I'll have time. Ok, be back later.

@Bill Widmer Get some rest. My brain is tired. Recharge and review my landing page.
Tuesday Check-In: How's it going?
Yesterday you set your one thing for the week. Today's question is simple: Did you take a step toward it yet? Even a tiny one counts. Sent a DM. Opened the doc. Made the call. If yes β€” drop what you did below. If not β€” what's in the way? Sometimes just naming the block is enough to break it. No judgement here! Just momentum. Onwards and upwards! πŸš€

@Bill Widmer wow. That sounds like me most days.
πŸš€ MOMENTUM MONDAY: What's your ONE thing this week?
If you're anything like me, your brain runs burning hot with new ideas all the time. You've got 4 half-built funnels, 3 content ideas you haven't shipped, a course outline collecting dust, and a "rebrand" you've been thinking about since January. But here's what I've learned in my 13 years as a solo founder: Picking 1 thing and finishing it will always beat picking 5 things and rotating between them. Always. Why? - Unfinished work drains energy. Every open loop takes up mental bandwidth β€” even when you're not actively working on it. The more loops, the less capacity you have for the thing that actually matters. - Done beats perfect. A shipped landing page converts. A 90% done landing page converts zero. Progress only counts when it crosses the finish line. - Momentum compounds. When you finish something, you get a hit of clarity. You see what worked, what didn't, and what to do next. When you juggle, you just see blur. So how do you pick your ONE thing? Ask yourself: "If I could only move one thing forward this week β€” the thing that would make the biggest difference to my revenue or my sanity β€” what would it be?" πŸ‘‡ Drop your ONE thing in the comments below. If you're stuck between options, drop a comment with what you're choosing between and we'll help you decide. I'll check in on Friday to see who followed through.

Spot on for me as well. Refine my Skool pitch and then start building it.

@Bill Widmer Answering your questions from our personal chat thread and then get Skool membership and start building the homepage, recruit 8-10 people to help me build it.
Too many ideas - need to focus!!
I’m Gordon. I work in business operations and small business consulting, helping companies build systems that actually work and create momentum. Personally, I’ve spent a lot of time figuring out how to move forward when I feel stuck or pulled in too many directions. I’ve never been formally diagnosed with anything, but I definitely relate to having a hard time focusing when new or more exciting opportunities show up. It’s easy for me to shift gears instead of staying locked in on what matters most. That tension has really shaped how I think about execution. I care a lot about simplifying, creating clarity, and actually following through. I joined because I want to keep sharpening that. Learning how to focus deeper, stay consistent, and build in a way that actually works with how I’m wired. Biggest challenge right now is staying disciplined on a few key priorities instead of chasing multiple good opportunities at once. Looking forward to learning from you all and being part of the community.

@Alena SladkovskΓ‘ Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm excited to just ping ideas off each other and refine one or two into a viable option. I've got a lot to learn so we'll see where this goes.

@Bill Widmer I'm helping a roofing company right now. The owner wants to see it in a few years so I'm helping clean up his email processes, CRM, workflows etc. I'm also helping a Drone company that sells large ag drones and Architecture, Engineer, and Construction services - thing stock pile reports, volumetrics, as-built - that's slow going at the moment as the owner refocuses on where he wants to take the company. I have a lot of Human Resources in my background. I also worked at a online university for many years teaching, building courses, professional development, HRIS admin.
🌟 Co-working sessions have been a game changer...
I just wanted to mention how fantabulous the co-working sessions have been for me, not only for focus and productivity, but also for the incredible people I've been able to connect with over the past few months in The Founders Guild. If you haven't tried one of the session in the calendar yet, I highly recommend that you do! This was our morning crew today! Love these ladies! 🩷🧑 @Sarah Hyland @Verena Venus @vanessa-phipps-4056
