Summer Vacation
I’m having a winter holiday on the other side of the world where y’all call it a Summer Vacation. So I’ll be intentionally laying down my flame and winding back on posting, comments etc here on Skool because I want to fully recharge so I can serve you at the highest level when I get back in a few weeks time. Feel free to support each other while I’m away. ✈️🌴🍹

@Shaz Jones Nice! I enjoyed my time there, was at Atlantis but also went into the city. Mostly ok with some areas that were a bit sketchy because a sign says "cannot guarantee your safety beyond this point" I said, ok I believe you and turned around lol. overall I want to come back and do an air bnb owned by locals since most of the $ is foreign investors.
Commenting Strategies
No-one I know builds communities through commenting as well as @Caroline Fransz. And wih well over 500 members in just one of her communities, she's got real results to show for it. So when we were on a call today I asked her for her tips. What's your best tip for starting and keeping conversations going?

Also, thank you for your early support. You gave me momentum. Got a lot of crap going on offline from skool but damn, I learned a lesson from you. Help everyone you can. My first member, I always remember this. No matter what.

@Shaz Jones 74 been off an on thought life has many many surprises lol. Many many many
Are you helping too much?
If your member is thirsty and you provide a fire hose you aren't helping them - you'll probably hurt them as you force them into falling backwards. And actively reject your help as too overwhelming. Thirsty people need a sip first, maybe even a whole cup. Anything bigger is too much. Help them have ONE QUICK WIN, nothing more. Then they'll know you truly understand how to help them. What can you remove, strip back, tone down or edit out, to be more helpful by providing less?

@Shaz Jones I'm a fan. Fallen trap to this myself. Get so damn excited to help it’s like an avalanche of processing for your brain, then you shut it down as it’s just too much. I get it. It’s hard to move at a slower pace when you are used to turbo mode, but here we are on SKool and skool isn’t turbo mode. Who knew. @Des Dreckett has calmed me down. Early days I'd send these large blocks of text in DMs…….then I realized, I do not like it that much either. Go figure. 🙃 Quick win? Yes. Super important! That’s where the welcome message comes in. But not via firehose. So I’ve learned to be more concise. Thanks Des for keeping me straight 🤣 Let’s save the firehose for you know, actual fires 😅
Skool Ad for Onliners
I just logged in to Facebook and saw the latest Skool Ad was for Onliners! And even more exciting, it was next to Andrew Kirby’s Synthesizer ad. We’re officially Facebook famous, people!! 😂 Anyone else seen it?

We're getting close to 150 Members
It's been 8 months this week since Onliners was "born" here on Skool. And we've grown every month. We didn't grow because of the algorithm (I declined the majority of people the algorithm sent). We grew because we showed up for each other as a community. We helped each other, shared our learning, we made each other better. We celebrated each other's success... like when @Stephanie Kara did her first group call and made her first sale on Skool, and @Caroline Fransz made her first dollar on skool, and @Kerry Souter got her first 5 members in 1 day, and @Nicholas Golden did the testimonial challenge and got clarity on helping others, and @Diana Berryman launched her second community, and @Robyn Chalk came to the first IRL event in WA, and @Jenelle Livet & @Kylie Marks came to the first IRL event in Wollongong (NSW), and @Des Dreckett and many others joined the MRR challenge, and @Danielle Drew did a live call to share her journey from $21 MRR to over $80K. I could go on, but the point is this community is real - and we show up in ways that support real progress, real results and real relationships. I couldn't be prouder of ALL of you. As we move forward, what would make the community *feel* even more real for you?
