10 contributions to Blank Napkin
Day Dreaming! My Introduction.
Hello everyone, Aaron here. I live in South Africa currently and my main goal is to completely bring to life the Idea I had scribbled at the back of a sheet of paper (it still counts as a Blank Napkin). "Fully Transition my Income Online " I want to get these 3 things from the community: 1.  Advice and Support. 2.  A group of people to run my ideas by. 3. A fun place to hang out and just talk. For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1.  Cooking (Jollof Rice is one of my specialties). 2. Discussing ethical dilemmas or other topics where people have widely varied opinions. 3.  Day Dreaming. I just joined the community and i'm hoping to connect with you all. I don't see a lot of posts and introductions even from people on the leaderboards, any reasons why? @Denis Zhebritski @Vickie Curd @Eliale Coqueiro @Mary K @Robert Stinson or is it against the Laws of the Blank Napkin???? @Zahida A Khan @Blank Napkin @Tamzid Himel

@Robert Stinson Thanks man! (I used to use Virtual dj, maybe you can help me brush up my skills) From what i see you are already learning the New tricks. I started by just commenting on posts I like and i'm tagged in before i finally decided to start posting (You are definitely moving in the right direction) Are you planning on making a group related to DJ or music here on skool? (i don't think we have something on it yet)

What's a Blank Napkin Pitch?
Have you heard about the "blank napkin pitch" trick? It's a super cool way to capture your business idea, and this simple concept was used by many Entrepreneurs who went on to create huge businesses around the world. Today, it's a concept that's still being used. The deal is: if your pitch fits on a simple napkin, it's probably brilliant and clear! Let's dive into why inking your biz idea on a blank napkin is the simplest way to start your business: 1. Capture ideas real-time while creativity is bubbling: Starting with a blank napkin gets your creative juices flowing and captures those brilliant ideas on the spot. It's cheap and easy – perfect for budding entrepreneurs! 2. Craft a flexible blueprint for success: Jotting on a disposable napkin gives you freedom to explore without commitment. It's fun, creative, and pushes you to think BIG without sweating the small stuff. 3. Stay organized, start small: A napkin's limited space keeps you focused and on point. Makes organizing your ideas super easy! No stress, no big bucks, no fancy setup – just pure, raw creativity!! 4. Visualize your plan, stay motivated: Your napkin sketch is a solid reminder of your vision and dreams. When the going gets tough, pull out that blank napkin sketch and reignite your passion -- remember your BIG WHY you got started. 5. Jot your objectives, aim high: Summing up your biz on a napkin cuts through the noise, keeps you laser focused. Know your goals, stick to 'em, and smash 'em hard!! Yes, take ACTION to implement your plan. Sure, napkins ain't for detailed business plans, but they fuel passion, hunger, and ambition. Remember, killer ideas start small. So, if you want to make your ideas irresistible to customers and investors, give the napkin pitch a try! ------------------------ ACTION STEP: ------------------------ Grab a blank napkin at the office, home or at your local coffee shop, and let the scribbling begin, allowing your pen to flow onto the blank napkin as you ink your business idea.
Complete action

@Denis Zhebritski 😄Moving can be hectic, (I moved 2x last year). Hmmm, well thats a different perspective. Why would you focus on getting members if the current product is not the best it can be As I see you already have enough people to use as a sample size and get feedback? Just curious.

@Denis Zhebritski True, more traffic - more data - more room for improvement
Scheduling Social Media Posts
Someone had asked to recommend SM Scheduler, and while earlier some SM platforms penalized scheduled posts, that was changed a long time ago, soOoo, it's totally cool to use a 3rd party SM scheduling apps -- here are 2 of my faves: 1. Used Hootsuite extensively when we had offered SMM services at lexxtech -- n would 100% recommend it, however, it comes with a niceeee price tag!! 🤣😁 2. You can also check out Buffer as they have a FREE plan If you use a 3rd party SM Scheduler, let us know in the comment 👇🏽👇🏽

@Denis Zhebritski Yeah YT is pretty straightforward, and you can schedule your videos (there is a built in scheduler). DO you use GHL for your skool group or busines outside of skool?

@Denis Zhebritski Oh okay that makes sense, i have seen a few top creators on here integrate it!
Lessons Learned
Trying to be better on writing down the things I learn from day to day. Here it is: 1. You will never get anywhere without good boundaries. If you allow people to walk all over you for the sake of keeping them, you will lose yourself in the process. 2. Trust your gut intuition, if you feel like something isn’t right, it probably isn’t. Your intuition will keep you safe. 3. Networking is one of the key components of business. Especially as an entrepreneur, you are your business. If people don’t know you exist, you won’t go far. 4. Learn from everyone you meet. Be open to relationships you might not have typically been open to. You can learn something (good or bad) from everyone you meet. Take the time to listen, learn, and ask good questions. This will get you far. This is what I’ve learned so far today. I’m super excited about the doors that are opening for me because I decided to step out of mine.

@Robert Stinson Oh yeah i heard about it, people said they were shaking with excitement when they left. I think i love motivation, but it can become procrastination very quickly. Any plans so far?
The Secret of Ray Kroc's Overnight Success
In the book 📚 "Grinding It Out" by 🍔McDonald's founder Ray Kroc; he wrote: "People have marveled at the fact that I didn’t start McDonald’s until I was 52 years old, and then I became a success overnight. But I was just like a lot of show business personalities who work away quietly at their craft for years, and then, suddenly, they get the right break and make it big. I was an overnight success all right, but thirty years is a long, long night. 😴 Overnight successes are often years and decades in the making. Everything worth pursuing – business, health, relationships, and life itself – is a long-term commitment. So, let's ask ourselves: 💭 what skill are we honing and preparing for? Comment below . . .

@Zahida A Khan Great insight! I really need to read this book, first time I am hearing of it. Maybe you can share one book recommendation or summary a month? Generally I'm honing my skills of focus and commitment to a path as i think that will serve me in the long term.

@Zahida A Khan That will be a cool resource especially if there are bookmarks on specific topics so they can be searched!
