I just paid for hosting Plan and signed in on Dreamhost C Panel, then navigated "Home" but I can't find my website Status ... What could be the case?

I'm about to pay for my hosting plan (recommended Dreamhost)which initially is $35.40 for the first year ... But only to discover that it will cost about $155.88 to renew. Why is this so?
