Hi from Philippa
Hello, I am really enjoying being part of this group and I now realize that I had not introduced myself. I am wrapping up my graduate studies and have decided to build a content brand and my life as an influencer. I feel like I've been in the architecture stage for a long time, digging the ground, and now I am starting to pour the proverbial foundation. I am a new Favikon Partner, and that platform led me here. I look forward to connecting and learning from all of you!

Philippa, your foundation analogy caught my attention—I spent more than 20 years contracting, so I can picture it. I’m finding your introduction a little later. What subject have you chosen to build your content around? I’d enjoy hearing how your studies connect with the direction you’re taking.

Intro's
Glad to Join, Tommy Ray Here
Hi everyone, glad to be part of Contractor Skoolkit! I'm Tommy — I run my own audio branding studio, creating custom intro music and sound identities, mostly for podcasters, coaches, and local businesses. Excited to see contractors here doing YouTube and marketing content, since a signature sound is something a lot of businesses overlook. Looking forward to learning from everyone and connecting.

Tommy, I found your introduction while catching up here. The before-and-after audio example sounds like a clear way to explain the idea. For a local contractor, how do you choose a sound that fits the business without getting in the way of the spoken message? I’m interested in the balance between recognition and keeping the information clear.
12 Day old website gets Contractor jobs!
I built a basement waterproofing website less than 2 weeks ago, and it got a phone call already TODAY from organic rankings on page 1. (no ads, just pure google ranking). That's damn fast! I have also built 14 other similar websites in the last 10 or so days... all to get JOBS for contractors. We had a team meeting this morning where I went through the details, and I attached the video below. It's about sales/selling, but also breaks down the strategy. You may want to build these for yourself, or I can build them for you as well. These are built in around an hour, entirely using ai! If you want to learn to build these, either to rank and sell the leads, OR for leads for your own business, post below... or join our marketer group at aisprinkled.com/join and ask. I've done SEO since 2012, and it all comes down to a template and strategy. And... as an agency we're starting to sell these leads exclusively to contractors... and unlike some, there's no sharing of leads. If you claim a site, you get ALL the leads, they're not shared with 4 others. If you want info about getting some sites for yourself... go to aisprinkled.com/getleads .

Hassan, finishing the current project before adding another idea makes sense to me. I’m learning practical AI after years in contracting, and it’s easy to collect more possibilities than I can use at once. What kind of project are you working on?
A callback note the contractor can actually use
The missed-call conversation here is familiar territory from my years in contracting. While I’m learning AI and sales, I’m interested in what makes the eventual callback easier for the person doing it. A phone number alone doesn’t tell you why the customer called. What would you want at the top of a callback note: the requested work, the location, the customer’s preferred time, or the main question they need answered? I’d like to understand what’s useful before adding more fields to a system.

@Deacon Nick That helps, Nick. The note should support the conversation rather than turn the callback into an interrogation. I can see why having those details together lets the contractor start with what the customer actually needs. Thanks for bringing it back to the relationship.
Anyone else notice how many calls get missed while crews are in the field?
Been building an AI receptionist for a US tree service company the last few months. One thing keeps surprising me: how much revenue never gets picked up. This company was missing about 50% of their calls. Not because anyone was slacking, but because the crew is in the field. Guys are on trucks, on-site, hands full. Homeowner calls at 2 PM, no answer, moves to the next name on the list at 2:02. Set up the AI to catch every call, qualify (scope, location, timing), and drop the job straight into their CRM. They're booking about 50% more jobs a month now. Roughly $20k+ per month in recovered revenue. Same crew, same ad spend. Curious for the roofers, HVAC folks, and tree service guys here: how much of your inbound do you think gets missed when your crews are out working? Would love to hear if 50% is normal or if we caught an outlier.

That answers it, Kentus. Having somebody actually accept the callback before a time gets promised would make me a lot more comfortable as the owner. Thanks for explaining the backup sequence too. A question I'd bring up with the crew is what happens if the guy taps 'got it' and then gets pulled into something on the job. Does the overdue callback come back to the office so the customer doesn't get forgotten?

@Kentus ZOQENA team @Kentus ZOQENA team That closes the gap I was asking about, Kentus. Accepted and completed are different states, and the shared open-callback queue keeps the office in the picture. Thanks for explaining the follow-through rather than just the first notification.
