Euphoric breathing & holotrophic breathing
Can someone tell me the difference between holotrophic and euphoric breathing? Isn't it the same technique or am i doing something wrong?

@Emile Verkerk thanks so much. I would however like to confirm on the technique. It is the same right coz Brian in 30 day program said that inhale to the belly and then chest (2 counts and deep) and exhale for both.
5 Primary Trauma Imprints
Hey guys! Today I had the Releasing the 5 Primary Trauma Imprints transformational journey and it was absolutely amazing! Brian's intro was so activating and inspiring that I started releasing from the third breath! No words can describe the experience. At the end I was feeling only love. Realizing that in a metaphysical plane we all really are only love. That my parents, my partners and friends during my life, all the people that had an impact on me, are truly love. No matter what they did (or didn't do..) ,their essence is love. And I accept it. They all led me here! ❤️ I surely need time to integrate all these but I am feeling grateful. 🙏 Did you have this journey? What was your experience?

@Margarita Florodimitri oh yes this journey is beautiful. I absolutely loved it and have done it a couple of times. All 5 are so relevant and i think a part of our lives at some point or the other. I think everyone should do it atleast once :)
breathwork & kids
Any resources around this? I meant to ask this on a Q&A but fell behind in the program and wasn't able to.

Following
The Breath and Diabetes part 2
The information being presented was gleaned from a class I recently took on breathwork and diabetes. In addition to what I shared in part 1 and also follow up comments, I learned the following. A. Nasal breathing is a must during the day and with the help of mouth taping, it greatly helps at night. Why? The greatest concentration of nitric oxide produced in the body is produced in the nose. Diabetics need to make sure their blood vessels stay as open and pliable as possible. Even though diabetics have trouble with the bioavailability of nitric oxide in comparison to the general population, they still benefit from getting as much of it as possible. Chronic overbreathing particularly through the mouth causes, constriction of the blood vessels, fatigue, higher blood pressure and brain fog which are already heightened in diabetics. Mouth breathing at night means that a person could mouth breathe for at least 30% of every 24 hours and there are incredible health impairments in so doing. Simply taping the mouth at night was a huge game changer for me concerning greater focus and energy! B. Light slow breathing and alternate nostril breathing help improve health outcomes for diabetics. Just 10 minutes twice daily can lower blood pressure, increase circulation, reduces cortisol levels, and helps increase heart rate variability. In this style, make sure that your exhale is at least a two seconds longer than the inhale. Alternate nostril breathing in diabetics can lower blood pressure, increases focus, and improves learning. More to come, but as breath coaches, let's not forget to learn what we can about functional breathing, so we can incorporate that into our education of our clients as well. Becoming breath aware, you begin to realize that many of us revert to shallow and faster breathing. The optimal number of breaths per minute is either 5 or 6. That's why I emphasize 4:6 or 5:7 as a great practice to get you there.

Back from the dead…
Hello beautiful souls! I hope you are all doing wonderful! I have seen some messages and I though about you often. Just wanted to give you some news and share a bit of my transformational journey. I am back. I have been away, or at least more quiet, for quite some time for several reasons. The first is, I needed to step back a little from social networks since it was taking up too much time, energy and mental space in my daily life. I needed to find back a balance. But I kept thinking of you all. The second is I wanted to put more time into moving of my practice. I am taking a leap of faith (almost never done that at that level!) by reducing my actual osteopathy practice and offer more time for physical and mental performance coaching with breathing training and TBW. This second reason feels a quantic jump for me. It brings old and profound fears that I am transcending one by one. I am choosing myself for one and I am dedicated to become great in order to lead people to greatness. I have never done so deep work and it comes with a lot of breakthrough and emotional release, hence a bit of natural exhaustion, needed for recovery and rebuilding my self. Still in the process, but ready to be here for others as well in the same boat. Talk to you soon. Can’t wait to read your stories! Luv you all! PS: Just guided my first 15 people in person and co-guided my first 30 people group in person as well! MAGICAL!
