Okay, Uncle Knolly (uh oh lol), I've been going over the older posts trying to soak in all these golden nuggets everyone is dropping. But, I need to bring it back to the basics rq. I have my book ordered, so I've got that part 'in the bag' 😜 But being the newbie I am, having the mind I have, and everyone suggesting something new, I feel like I'm trying to mine all the gold in several buckets all at once. Going back to your three fundamentals, I have my SOI in my CRM (my team uses FUB (Follup Boss), so I'm not utilizing kvCore (which I still want to get setup, and I saved the website you shared for help on that). So, I'd like to focus on my FARM to get to really know my area since I want to start close to home. What steps would you say would really hone it in for me without too many shiny objects to lead me down unnecessary rabbit holes. Call me Alice cuz I'm diving head first down all of them not knowing what to really dial in on. I get recommended something, then that something leads down 18 other paths that get me so turned around I lose the path I started on. I feel like the Cheshire Cat is everywhere I look pointing down another path.🤷♀️ I need directions that will directly lead me in the right direction. (Another Alice in Wonderland reference 😉) Door knocking is NOT my thing. I'd just stand on their porch like a babbling idiot stumbling over my words from nervousness, then I'd get so frustrated that I'd lose the "happy realtor" facade & come at them real & raw like I wanted to in the beginning. Ain't nobody got time for that 🤣 I'm usually one extreme or the other depending on the other person &/or the situation. Don't know if that's a Capricorn thing or what. I'm totally fine with leaving them something, though. And I'm still learning all of the systems, so I can do basic searches on the MLS, but I don't know any fancy tricks yet like setting up alerts or using tools for specific things you want to know. And I know there are videos, but as I said, everything has ENDLESS videos! And I am attending their live sessions also (I like those). I am trying to be intentional & stop wasting my time (I'm literally on my laptop from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed Sun - Sat! My kids & husband keep telling me to take a break, but I feel like I've wasted so much time on unnecessary stuff instead of finding what I really need to focus on right now.) One I've completed a series of videos, I'm told to complete another training or to watch another set for something I ask about.🤦♀️
