The only way to heal it is to feel it. Most emotional loops are not mental problems. They are unfelt fear. Unprocessed grief. Buried anger. We keep replaying stories in our minds hoping they will finally resolve. But the mind cannot heal what the heart and body are still carrying. Healing begins when we stop rehearsing the story… and allow ourselves to fully feel what is underneath it. Yes, it takes courage. Yes, sometimes it takes tears. But on the other side of feeling is freedom. Little by little: • your mind clears, • your body softens, • your thoughts quiet down, • and life begins to return within you. This is not weakness. This is self-compassion. This is honesty. This is healing. God did not create you to carry buried pain forever. So many of us open up to any and everyone because we want so much to help all that we can however, we must be mindful of protecting ourselves in the process. Most people drain us unintentionally. Often times it’s the people closest to us that pull our much needed energy to compensate for their lack. It is possible to continue to serve others with a full heart without leaving ourselves depleted. Wearing amethyst around the neck helps prevent spiritual attacks or carrying black obsidian can help keep us grounded. Saying a daily affirmation before starting your day is another fantastic way to protect yourself from unseen attacks on us. It could be as simple as “I only welcome divine beings of light in my space” Setting boundaries with these simple yet effective steps will not only allow us to continue spreading light, it will also protect our energy as well.
