Top setup
Hey all I'm trying to determine best setup for my claw / hermes right now I have my claw setup as my main operator, with Hermes operating as a support agent.. My Claw just has more configuration.. Opus, GPT5.4, Minimax, etc... and just gets shit done better My concern though is Hermes doesn't continuously learn/evolve because Claw is my main point of contact Am I looking at this wrong? What's best practice here..

I’m actually in the exact same line of thinking right now. What I still struggle to fully understand is how having both would make the setup meaningfully more effective instead of just more complex. At the moment, I’m running OpenClaw as a kind of virtual assistant that handles my organization and productivity, and it’s already giving me a solid operating layer. At the same time, I do have strong FOMO around Hermes because of the self-improvement and learning side of it. That part is very appealing. But on the other hand, I’m also cautious about shiny object syndrome and unnecessary dispersion. Part of me feels I’ll probably get better results by going all-in on one tool, building real workflows, and developing actual depth with it, rather than constantly switching back and forth between systems. So I guess my real question is: in practice, where does the combination of OpenClaw + Hermes create genuine leverage?
