What set-ups are we all using?
Hi all, I’m looking at upgrading my automation set-up and wanted to transition from using Google sheets to a professional style dashboard. Does anyone have any combination of apps/softwares to use to do this? I’d like a dashboard my clients can log-on too and view there leads/jobs/quotes and any analytic data that might be relevant to them. I feel like this could really catapult my business from a “start up” to a professional developed system. If anyone has any suggestions, please comment/DM me. Would be great to have an idea of what everyone would use. Thank you all, Adam, TradeFlow Automation

I went through the same transition recently — moving from Google Sheets to a proper client-facing dashboard. What worked best for me: • Use Softr on top of Airtable/Sheets → fastest way to build clean client portals with login + permissions • Or Glide if you want something more app-like and mobile friendly • If you want more control → Retool (but more technical) The key shift is: Don’t just show data — give clients a simple interface to interact with it. That alone makes your service feel 10x more “premium”. Happy to share how I structure it if you want.
Help with a client…
First time this has happened… we “signed a client up” started doing work, he became an ego maniac, wanted things done completely wrong… so me and my agency refused to do those things and said let’s stick to scope. He one day asked me to put a link on a short form video and put “Click here” I told him that people can’t click a link on a short form video… lol he freaked out and said of course they can. He also refused to spend any ad money like the agreed proposal said. The next morning he requested a refund in full and basically said he’d trash me to my local market if I didn’t give him a refund. Technically we didn’t sign any contract, we agreed total would be 15k for 90days, he made a half payment 7.5k. We were around day 47 when he did this. We also had agreed to a scope and proposal already. We built his website, Kajabi landing pages, edited 20 short form videos, built a funnel to landing page that was meant for ad spend, did his brand messaging docs, and 100s of messages of outreach through his account to his ICP. Added Manychat automations… and more… Easily 7.5k… Anyways… anyone ever dealt with this?

This happens more often than people think — especially without a contract. From what you described, you’ve clearly delivered real work that justifies the payment, so a full refund doesn’t make sense. Best approach here is to stay calm and professional: Reiterate what was delivered vs. the agreed scope, and if needed, offer a partial resolution (not full refund) just to close things cleanly. Also take it as a lesson — contracts + clear expectations upfront save you from this 100%.
I need help!
I started the course that Liam made and I chose the consultant path. I learned to deal with clients and how to gather them, but I still didn’t learn how to use AI tools to help companies. Please if anyone knows where to learn how to use AI tools or to learn the technical work itself please tell me!

This is a very common mistake — you went into consulting before building. You don’t need to learn “all AI tools”. You just need to build 1–2 real automations. Start with something simple like: Lead response + booking system using n8n That alone will teach you: • how tools connect • how data flows • how to actually solve a business problem Courses won’t give you that — building will. Once you have that, consulting becomes 10x easier because you’re speaking from experience. If you want, I can show you a simple workflow to start with.
How to Build & Sell AI Automations: Ultimate Beginner’s Guide
I am looking for the resources to follow to follow along and learn. Where is it located?

If you’re talking about Liam’s “How to Build & Sell AI Automations,” it’s usually inside his community/platform — not publicly available as a full guide. But honestly, don’t get stuck searching for the “perfect course”. The fastest way to learn is: Pick one simple workflow (like lead response), build it in n8n, and improve it step by step. That’s how you actually understand + get clients at the same time. If you want, I can point you to a simple first workflow to start with.
I Have a Question
I’m trying to decide which automation service and niche to focus on first. From my research, AI lead response / appointment booking systems seem to be in high demand because many businesses lose leads due to slow response times. My goal is to land my first automation client quickly, then expand into more advanced systems later (like outbound lead generation or full sales pipelines). For those already running AI automation agencies and people on their jouney to build one: 1. Which niche did you find easiest to close your first client with? 2. Do marketing agencies buy automation systems, or is it better to target industries like B2B tech & SaaS, home services, real estate? 3. If you were starting again today in 2026, which niche would you target first? Would love to hear real experiences from people who have already closed clients.

You’re thinking in the right direction. AI lead response / booking is one of the easiest offers to sell first because the problem is obvious and tied directly to lost revenue. For niches, I’ve seen the fastest wins with: • Local services (dental, clinics, home services) • Real estate They already have inbound leads — they just handle them poorly. Marketing agencies do buy, but usually later when you have proof. They’re more aware, but also more skeptical. If I were starting again today: I’d pick one niche (e.g. dental), build a simple lead response + booking system, and focus only on that until I close 1–2 clients. After that, everything gets easier.
