I still remember celebrating when someone's first project actually worked, or when some of you made some mad bread! So far, PU has helped over 1,500+ web developers worldwide! Thats insane to think about... PU shaped everything I do today and I genuinely mean that. But unfortunately the world has changed... AI flipped this entire industry on its head and the way we were doing things inside PU just doesn't match where we're all headed. The concepts remain the same, but the methods / vehicle have changed. In the future, could we create a SaaS application that leverages Python for AI on the backend and Next.js for the frontend? Given Python’s strong presence in the AI field, the goal would be to use it as the backend framework, integrating popular libraries like LangChain, Crew AI, and tools for file manipulation and data processing. Would it be feasible to develop a production-level app combining Python for AI-driven tasks in the backend with Next.js for an interactive, modern frontend?

Alright everyone! Im excited to announce the next SAAS project. The name of the project is called Opal (Yes, I love the name too) It is a video sharing tool similar to Loom but with an Improved UI and AI features. This project will rely heavily on video processing so its definitely going to be a challenging one. We will be uploading any premium modules inside the Web Dev Deep Dive module.
