I'm wondering about the cash used for buying stock at boot sales. How do you account for it with HMRC? It's not like there are receipts. So how does it get accounted for??

Hey guys, just wanted to ask a bit of a favour. I am doing my first ebay live in ages on Sunday at 4pm and am so nervous! I do youtube stuff and thats fine because I can edit out all of my gibberrish and innapropriateness! Was just wondering if anyone was free if they would pop into my live just for the moral support? You don't have to buy anything obvs but It might relax me a bit if people i "know" are there! I'm hoping to get into live selling regularly asap so if you cant be there but have any advice I would be so greatful!

Hey everyone I thought I’d introduce myself as I joined yesterday. I’m Gee. I’m a complete newbie who hasn’t even started yet. I’m at the stage of absorbing as much information as my little brain will let me. My plan is to first sell all my kids old clothes so I can get a handle on understanding the platforms. (Currently thinking just eBay and Vinted to start). Then eventually turning to sourcing and reselling to make some money. My youngest is only four months old, I’m hoping to make a real go of it so I don’t have to return to a 9-5 once she turns one.
