šŸŽØ Saturday Fun šŸ”„
I saw this a few minutes ago and had to share with y'all. ā†™ļø Go on ChatGPT and ask: "Create a caricature of me and my job based on everything you know about me.ā€ It might ask you to upload a few photos (mine did), and honestly… it nailed it šŸ˜‚ You can also guide it if you don’t use ChatGPT much, just tell it about your job, career, or what you’re building. This kind of image is actually super useful: social media, skool profile or about page, website, print it and keep it at home, or just for fun šŸ˜… I’m sharing mine here because this is a great example of how AI can be used in a creative, positive way, not just for work. šŸ‘‡ Drop yours below if you try it Let’s hype each other up and have some fun with it. ā° Reminder: We’ve got our usual 10:30 AM call today (open for everyone). No agenda, just chatting, connecting, and getting to know each other like always. Open space for any questions, ideas, or topics you want to bring up. I do have to take my cat to the vet at 11:30 AM (yearly check-up 🐾), but I’ll be fully present with you all for that hour šŸ˜Ž See you soon šŸ™Œ

@Bruno Militz hahaha "how did you know it wasn't?". real talk! we may not be the only ones struggling if they have to put that prompt in there. I have not tried headspace but I encourage it for people, haha. :)

@Bruno Militz thank you so much for the recommendation! I was going to be silly and say "if they have to put that in there because everybody's minds wander, maybe the wandering mind isn't the issue šŸ˜‚" that's just silly.

Huge thank you to everyone who showed up, asked thoughtful questions, and truly engaged. This honestly went way beyond my expectations, and that’s 100% because of the people in this room. The energy, the honesty, the depth of the conversation… it was special. A massive thanks to Eric for generously sharing his experience, wisdom, and perspective. From building businesses to navigating relationships, family, and the long game of life, this was real, grounded, and incredibly valuable. For those who couldn’t make it live, I strongly recommend watching the recording. There’s so much value in there, and I guarantee different things will click for you depending on where you’re at in your journey right now. šŸ˜Ž Feel free to send him a thank-you message and connect with him. šŸ“± 904.314.2911 šŸ“ø Eric's Instagram Thank you all for showing up the way you did. Seriously. This is why this community exists. šŸ™šŸ½ Feel free to share your feedback if you’d like.

@Bruno Militz I guess it could go on a bucket list! It's not top priority, but it could be fun. And if I show up in a spot like that again, I'm sure I can hitch a quick ride with one of the people. ha.

šŸ”„ Monday Inspiration šŸ”„Your environment is shaping you
I’m sure everyone here is aware of this, so I’d like to send this as a ā€œreminderā€. Your environment is either building you up or breaking you down. It’s either pulling you forward or pulling you back. And most people don’t realize it’s happening until years later. Back then, I thought ā€œenvironmentā€ meant the people around you and the place you live. And it does. But today, our environment also includes something we carry in our pockets all day. Your phone. Your feeds. Your social platforms. Lucky us, we found a positive platform like this. You might not choose every thought you have (which I think you do), but you definitely DO choose what you consume daily. And what you consume becomes what you believe is normal and acceptable. Unfiltered inputs create unfocused outputs. Filter what you consume. šŸ˜‰ When I started my previous career, I made a decision about social media that honestly changed everything for me.Ā I cleaned it up. I got intentional. I started following people who raised my standard. I removed anything that made me weaker, distracted, or average. And over time, it helped me stay sharper, more focused, and hungrier. Because my environment kept pulling me in the right direction. So here’s your Monday challenge: 1ļøāƒ£ Take 5 minutes today and audit your environment. People, places, routines, and especially your feeds. If it’s not helping you become who you want to be, it’s probably helping you stay who you are.Ā Is that what you want? 2ļøāƒ£ Quick exercise: I’d love it if we could learn and inspire each other. Post your favorite 1–3 quotes below. The kind of quotes you’d want on a wall, in your notes app, or on your mirror. A quote that INSPIRES you! And if you can, write them down and carry them with you, especially when your motivation goes down.

Scientific Saturday / Sunday: the neuroscience of doing things you don’t want to do
Hey Everyone, Hope you’re all having a great weekend thus far! I’ve been a fan of neuroscience / biopsychology ever since taking a course on it in university, and am especially interested in how we can apply it to ourselves for our own benefit. Incidentally, a year or two ago I listened to an interesting podcast (see resources below) featuring Dr. Andrew Huberman and David Goggins (perhaps known more than anyone for being relentless in his training and doing things he really doesn’t want to do). They were discussing the role of the anterior mid cingulate cortex (let’s just be easy on ourselves and refer to it as the AMCC) in doing things you don’t want to do / tenacity / persistence / etc. Science seems to suggest that the size of this brain region correlates with one’s ability to do things they do not want to do / tenacity. Furthermore, forcing yourself to do things that you do not want to do, especially those that take you out of your comfort zone, increases the size of the AMCC, which leads to stronger will power over time! Furthermore, according to Dr. Huberman: ā€œLeaning into challenges, whether physical or intellectual, promotes brain health and helps maintain cognitive function as you age. This kind of practice is associated with ā€˜super agers’, people who maintain their cognitive abilities well into later life by consistently engaging in challenging activities. Through consistent effort and facing challenges head-on, we can strengthen our minds without relying on shortcuts or hacks.ā€ Who else wants to be a ā€˜super ager’? I am going to add that one to my list of long-term goals!😁 Of course, the path towards increased AMCC size and health is not easy. It takes a lot of consistent effort to grow this region, and the journey is unpleasant because, after all, we have to do things we don’t want to do on a consistent basis. The more we detest them, the better! Yet, I think it is worth trying. Here are two quotes from a research article (see below) on the AMCC and tenacity:
