Just saying hi.
This is what I will be hopefully getting fully restored and up and running for biketoberfest 26. Never done motor and clutch just always stuck to the basics. Oil change and filters with spark plug. Other than that. That’s my so called expert knowledge. lol. Any help would greatly appreciate it through the process.

@Justin Olivares The fun begins! That is how we learn. Take pictures as you tear it down, get some totes for parts, and label everything.

Believe me brother, when it's time to put stuff back together, a few minutes will save you so much time and heartburn.

@Kevin Hazenberg Used to love going out in the hills, through the forests, lost half the time but didn't care.

Great stuff! People need to know how to see trouble on the horizon. Plugs, oil, exhaust tips, noises, leaks. Keep up the good work.
A good idea
It’s always the best idea to tear thing a part and see all parts before ordering anything. Of course some times you can just order what you need but in engine you really want to see evening. So this KTM 450 has 300H and needed engine cases. Had I just order the cases I would have been a bad day when I found the bad rod bearing when changing the cases.

No hope for machining the cases?

Gotcha. Always looking at options, sucks when you get backed up to the proverbial wall. Good Luck!
