Nice quiz! I think the answers for 9 and 10 are backwards though?

@Niko Tokas At least if 9 and 10 are marked backwards, it means you should have got some points! Calculation is important but it is not practical to brute force calculate everything, the most important thing is understanding broader principles that will allow you to stop calculating a line early as you already know whether it's a win, draw, or loss.
The anti-blunder marathon is paying off
Although rated puzzles aren't specifically part of the marathon, in the past few days I feel I've become more consistent at solving the puzzles, and seen a significant uptick in my rating there, reaching a new personal best! Now I just need to actually spot the tactics in live games...

My instinct was that we need to trade the f pawn and block the h pawn with the king, but Ne7 and Nh6 both allow f6+ and our king is not going to be able to get in front of the h pawn, White's king will get there first. So Nf6 seems best to prevent that, and White can't really make much progress as far as I can see - Nf6 h5 Nh7+ and Black's king can't be forced away, while the knight moves back and forth between h7 and g5, neither of which the white bishop can attack? And neither pawn can make progress.
Frustrated
I lost four games in a row, then won four games in a row. After that, I lost three games, and then won three games again. 😢😂

That is how the rating system works - if you play people a similar level to yourself, you should expect to win and lose equal amounts of games. Try to learn what you can from your mistakes, to advance your skills, and then your rating will increase - but you'll still win and lose the same number of games even then, if you're playing auto-matched opponents!
