Start Here: Introduce Yourself
This is where new members introduce themselves. Post here before anything else. A quick note on how the sections work: → General Discussion is for ongoing questions and conversation → New Members (this one) is for introductions only → In Classroom, click the checkmark in the top right of a lesson once you've gone through it, so you can track your progress through P.R.O.A.M.S. Foundations Now introduce yourself. Include: → Who you are → Your history with this problem, briefly → What you're hoping to gain from being here The more specific you are, the better the answers and advice you'll get from everyone else here. Read a few others and give feedback: welcome them, ask a follow-up question, or point them to something that helped you with a similar issue. This community is better when we participate!

Welcome to Your PT Breakdown!
If you found this community, you're probably dealing with pain that hasn't fully resolved, or you're a professional who wants better outcomes than protocol-driven care delivers. Either way, you're in the right place. This is where P.R.O.A.M.S. approach gets applied to real problems. It stands for the Painfree Restoration of Asymmetrical Muscle Strength. It is the basic foundation of many solutions and it will provide a better understanding of how the body works. Expect to learn about the causes and fixes for many common diagnoses and movement limitations, like: → Different types of joint pains and limitations in motion → Different types of chronic low back pain including how to correct a scoliosis → Neuropathy pains throughout the upper and lower extremities → Post surgical protocols that will actually help you recover better and prevent other surgeries → Difficulties walking or running like you used to just a short time ago → Contributing factors to devastating injuries like achilles ruptures and how to prevent them Each one gets the same treatment: what's actually causing it, not just what to do about it. Who this tends to help most: → Anyone stuck at a plateau despite consistent rehab or training → Athletes trying to get back to their sport, not just "cleared" for daily life → Weekend lifters and runners dealing with a nagging issue that won't resolve → PTs, surgeons, and athletic trainers who want a sharper assessment lens → Anyone who's balance is failing and basic things like walking or stairs is problematic Before you do anything else, head to New Members and post: → Your history with this problem, briefly → Why you joined → What you're hoping to get out of being here After that, don't wait for a reason to post. Ask questions early and often, even if they feel basic. If you've solved something similar yourself, post that too. This works best when it runs both directions.
