Welcome! Introduce yourself + share a pic of your favourite snare 🥁
Let's get to know each other! Comment below sharing where you are in the world, a photo of your favourite snare drum, and something you like to do for fun. 😊 I'll go first - I live in Melbourne Australia, my favourite snare is the Gretsch 2mm Copper 14x5 (with Kentville Kangaroo Head) and I love long-distance running 🏃‍♂️

Beautiful kit Griffin. I have the bop kit version of your Sonor drums, also in the same classic White Pearl finish. Welcome!!

@Griffin Smith I like them a lot. Look great, sound great and less weight to lug around.
MY 2 Cents:
Kudos to Anthony. Premier Membership is a huge value proposition. I love tapping into some of the 160 group lessons Anthony has done. Whether just starting out or advanced these are great. I have access to the 2 new live sessions Anthony is doing and if I miss one, it's recorded. The Lateral Brush Routines are great and the video library is a must. Learn a brush groove and then go practice at different speeds. This is where you go for brushes. I am glad I lifetime-locked in the price. Price goes up December 1. I highly recommend this guys. Oh hey, this is not a paid endorsement BTW.
Two further bossa-nova-approaches
Hey everybody. As I'm into bossa nova a little bit at the moment, I'd like to share two further approaches, that I picked up from Anthony and that I'm exploring now ("work in progress") under his guidance. >> Thanks at that point to the brush-master. 🙏 In one of the examples I play two different accent-patterns with the RH, while the LH hand is sweeping. You can find these in the BGOD-PDF on page 42. And preliminary exercises on page 40 and top of 41, which I play ahead in my clip, before going into the patterns. >> Suggestions for improvement are very welcome.

Great job Simon!!
Event tonight - Will it be recorded?
HI Anthony, I will not be able to make the meeting tonight nor that one from next week due to business travel. Wil it be recorded and made available through the Classroom?

How to move up levels?
Hey friends, a few of you have asked me how to move up levels. As you may have noticed, you all start on level 1 and you have limited access to some of the courses on the Classroom tab. The only way you earn points is when other members like your posts or comments. 1 like = 1 point. Higher level = more access. It is setup this way to encourage engagement and build the overall positive vibe that I wish for this group. Want to know a quick way to get more likes? Comment on other members' comments in any post (or below) and the likes will start rolling in.

Been Playing drums for 10 years every Sunday morning but I'm not a pro. I'm a senior citizen lucky to be part of this brush group. Thank you, Anthony!
