I don't know about you, but every now and then, when I'm in a quiet place, I'm moved to put an idea down...and then as i place the words onto the page they take on a life of there own...there's more to come, more that wants to be told. This was one of thos moments while sitting in a Cuban Cafe in the Everglades: We are all just passing through, like a leaf on a stream, meandering through life to the myopic extreme. A feather in the wind, dancing, twisting, a pirouette on a life unfolding a tenuous grip on moments we are holding. Separation is an illusion, a self-inflicted delusion, Once set into play becomes a lonely heartless addiction. We never know the notes before they play, or the melody within our souls sweet symphony that carries us away. The joy in our lives is reflected in the eyes of our lovers, in our compassion and acts of kindness to others. The pain and ache our hearts so often take is a reflection of the depth of the love we make. Know that more binds us together than what keeps us apart, from soul to spirit from breath to aching heart. The wake of love we leave behind touches many parts of the shore, timelessly, endlessly eroding away what lay before. Look deep inside, and learn to swallow your pride, because whether you know it or not, we’re all just along for the ride.
