Hey everyone ✨ It’s been a while since our phones buzzed with any new notifications from the community. I hope everyone’s new year is off to a great start with fresh goals and energy! I’m excited to share my 10-module prerequisite guide, which reflects my learning journey and hands-on work. I truly believe knowledge grows when it’s shared, and this is my small way of giving back to the community. This 10-module workshop was part of my preparation as I get ready to start my internship as a Technical Project Manager. I hope you all can revisit key concepts, discover new ideas, and benefit from the activities and insights I’ve compiled!

What I learnt? I learned what compliance managers truly value, including business understanding, risk-based thinking, and clear communication. I now see how proactive learning and visibility make a real difference in career progression. What I am achieving? I am developing the confidence to speak about AML risks, suggest improvements, and communicate clearly. Why it matters? In competitive fintech environments, interns who understand both business and risk are the ones retained. Technical knowledge alone is not enough without initiative and communication skills. How is this preparing me for a real career? This module is helping me understand the need for business awareness and stakeholder communication skills essential for long-term success. Inspiration for others coming behind This learning shows that standing out in compliance is achievable through curiosity, effort, and clarity. Anyone willing to go beyond minimum expectations can create real opportunities for themselves.

I’ll be honest with you, I found this very difficult. I redid this video 4/5 times, it’s challenging explaining why a company should hire you without feeling egotistic but I guess you need to highlight why you’d be an asset to a company. Definitely an area I’ll be looking to improve on.

Graduation day! Thank you all that watched, interacted and put up with my voice over the past 7 days. It’s been fun, looking forward to the next challenge and hopefully meeting a few of you when I’m in Dubai.
