Hi, me too :-)
Found my people, let’s goooo!!🦖 Screaming internally in happy dinosaur
I’m Nando, a Brazilian living in London, Ontario, Canada I’m a personal trainer and gym manager, and I’m building an online fitness brand called FitbyNando. 🦄 Favorite color: Red and black 🌈 Favorite Pokemon: Machamp. 💪😂 🐛 My current Skool challenge: Getting real momentum and interaction in my new community. So yeah, I just opened a free Skool community called Athletic Living Collective. The vibe is pretty simple: athletic living for busy schedules. Short workouts, mobility, strength, consistency, and a place where people actually help each other show up. But I’m gonna be honest, I’m struggling with the “early days” part 😅 I opened it, I’m posting,(just changedmy idea and the structure of the community because i got no interactions😪) but getting members + real interaction has been harder than I expected. If you’ve grown a Skool community from 0 to active…What actually moved the needle for you?

@Nando De Oliveira you may have just explained your struggle with getting that early interaction and momentum going right here. If your goal is to spread your knowledge, you're possibly unconsciously building a broadcasting platfrom, not a community one. And if your audience is 'everybody', you're not really identifying what makes them a community. Given what you're talking about, you're talking to fitness enthusiasts, but that's far too broad an audience to create a sense of identity from. Are you talking to gym bunnies who are already knowledgeable? Noobs who just want to figure out their routines? Intermediates who have plataeud? Or is the gel something else? Are you talking to seniors trying to stay agile? Midlifes (my audience) dealing with the double whammy of hormonal changes and declining health/energy Or a younger crowd who are looking for peak performance? Your bio says 'athleticism for busy professionals' which suggests you're talking to a younger, performance based crowd. In which case, your best bets for getting engagement are probably short, punchy posts with images and videos, competitions (I have seen a lot of people talking about last-post-wins type competitions being great for engagement on Skool) and things that are easy to consume and give the user bragging rights. If you're talking to an older crowd like me, giving us a chance to moan, opine, and commiserate tends to be more effective ;-)

You did better than me on the Pokemon question remembering the yellow cute one, lol. Starting to feel like Danny Glover ;-)
Step 1
- 🦄 Irridescent pearl (cos, all the colours, and still white, got to be magic, right?) - 🌈 Favorite Pokemon? (who de what now? Used to know one or two of them, but those bits of data are looong gone in the sea of fog) - 🐛 Ur current skool challenge? Just settling in getting started, no specific challenge as yet. Give it time, I'm sure I'll find plenty...
